Protect yourself from Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The best way to prevent the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic illness is by avoiding your exposure to the virus. Clean your hands often, use soap and water for at least 20 seconds or a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol to clean your hands more frequently.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands or after being in the public.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Maintain a safe distance between yourself and other people if COVID-19 is spreading in your community.
Stay home if you’re sick and take help from local health authorities and medical professionals.
Make sure to cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or use the inside of your elbow when you cough or sneeze. Properly dispose the used tissues in the trash, and immediately clean your hands with soap and water or a hand sanitizer.
Wear a face mask if you are sick or if you are around other people (e.g., sharing a room or vehicle) and before you enter a healthcare provider’s office. Do not wear a face mask unless you are caring for someone who is sick.

Sony announces latest Xperia 1 Mark II 5G with ZEISS optics and Sony Alpha camera technology


Sony announced their latest flagship smartphone, originally planned for the MWC 2020, coming down the line as their all new Xperia 1 II (Mark Two). The brand new Android 10 powered smartphone from the Japanese multinational company arrives integrating industry leading features such as the Sony's Alpha technology and ZEISS optics with anti-reflective coating for enhanced quality of photographs, precisely calibrated for the handset's primary triple camera module on the rear showcasing lenses with 16mm, 24mm and 70mm focal length respectively with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a custom fitted 3D iToF sensor.

Following the latest trend, even Sony highlight's their next generation smartphone's frontrunner camera functionalities, bringing the best in class shooting capabilities on board for Xperia 1 Mark II. The handset traits autofocusing cameras (AF/AE3), offering users upto 20 frames-per-second and burst shooting with upto 60 times-per-second. "Cinematography Pro" on the device is powered by their "CineAlta" feature, which is capable of recording under multiple frame rates and supports 2K videos at 120 frames-per-second at 10 bit HDR and allows manual controls in house for touch auto focus , alongside white balance customization to boost cinematographic experience on the latest Sony release.

Apart from the camera features, the Xperia 1 II will also be Sony's first smartphone to go official with latest and fastest dual-mode (SA/NSA) 5G connectivity under the hood, packing Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 865 SoC with X55 Modem-RF system supporting Sub-6 GHz networks, coupled by 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage space. On the front, the phone boasts a "CinemaWide" 6.5" 4K Ultra High Definition OLED display with HDR support and an 8MP secondary front facing snapper in Sony's traditional taller 21:9 ratio panel, with the phone maker's "Creator mode" again powered by "CineAlta." Sony has provided Dolby Atmos sound on the Xperia 1 Mark II, specially tuned in collaboration with Sony Pictures Entertainment, giving users a multi-dimensional surround sound experience with dual front stereo speakers and 360 Reality Audio. Lastly, the Sony Xperia 1 Mark II is powered by a 4000mAh battery unit featuring both wired and Qi wireless fast charging technology, including AI-powered "Battery Care" on board for the betterment of your phone's overall battery health and performance. The phone is also water and dust resistant with IP65/68 certifications and proposes Corning's Gorilla Glass version 6 on front and back sides, shipping out in standard Black and Purple color options.

Exact availability and pricing details are not yet disclosed by the manufacturer, but we heard Sony will make the smartphone available in the European region starting this spring and should also arrive soon in the United States.
