Protect yourself from Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The best way to prevent the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic illness is by avoiding your exposure to the virus. Clean your hands often, use soap and water for at least 20 seconds or a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol to clean your hands more frequently.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands or after being in the public.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Maintain a safe distance between yourself and other people if COVID-19 is spreading in your community.
Stay home if you’re sick and take help from local health authorities and medical professionals.
Make sure to cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or use the inside of your elbow when you cough or sneeze. Properly dispose the used tissues in the trash, and immediately clean your hands with soap and water or a hand sanitizer.
Wear a face mask if you are sick or if you are around other people (e.g., sharing a room or vehicle) and before you enter a healthcare provider’s office. Do not wear a face mask unless you are caring for someone who is sick.

Xiaomi unveils affordable Redmi Band for just $13


Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi introduced a new affordable smartband to their wearable portfolio in mainland China, launching the all new Redmi Band. The band will support a 1.08" color display, quick-release wristband, 14 days of battery life and is also 5ATM water resistant. Redmi Band will have 5 professional sports modes, an optical heart rate sensor, sleep cycle monitor and more. The band ships in four colors and will go for pre-orders starting April 9 for just 13.39 USD.

Motorola announced the latest Moto G8 Power Lite for $182


Motorola announced their latest Moto G8 Power Lite smartphone and will be made available in Mexico and Germany in the coming days, retailing with an affordable price tag around 182.60 USD. Honor 8A Prime goes official in Russia


Russia will see the new Honor 8A Prime entry-level smartphone sold in the country for a price starting at Russian Ruble equivalent 127.32 USD for the 3GB RAM/64GB ROM option, coming in shades of Midnight Black, Blue and Emerald Green colors. For a limited time the smartphone will be offered with free Huawei AF15 Wireless Monopod Tripod or Honor Band 4 Running or HONOR Sport wireless Bluetooth earphones. The phone is basically the rebranded Honor 8A Pro that was announced back in April of 2019. The newly launched Honor 8A Prime will rock the exact same internal specifications as it's former but will offered in a new color option of Emerald Green hue.

Xiaomi announces Mi 10 Lite 5G globally


Xiaomi announces their latest affordable Mi 10 Lite 5G Android-powered smartphone, promising 5G connectivity for everyone. The new Lite version of Mi 10 5G will be their latest addition to the Mi 10 series of devices including the vanilla Mi 10 5G and Mi 10 Pro 5G, that was first introduced in mainland China then followed by their global launch in Europe. The phone will be available in shades of Blue, Grey and White colors and will be sold in the Europe starting this May and will only cost around 386.80 USD for the base option. The phone features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset on board with integrated X52 modem for dual-mode SA/NSA capable 5G connectivity and packs a Kryo 475 chip processor. The device will also tot LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.1 internal storage, alongside a 6.57" AMOLED TrueColor water drop style notch display, housing the 16MP front facing secondary snapper. Around the back, we see a 48MP quad camera module and a 4160mAh powered battery, that can fast charge upto 20W and even supports QC3.5 and FFC.

Samsung Galaxy M11 goes official from United Arab Emirates

Samsung finally took the wraps off their latest entry-level smartphone featuring a punch hole display and triple camera module in the United Arab Emirates, officially listing the all new Galaxy M11 on their website for the country. The phone had already made it's appearance in the past, showing off it's design in renders and revealing most of it's internal hardware specifications, and now we have the handset out in the Middle East, which came in as a surprise because Samsung followed a trend of launching these models to the Indian subcontinent first. So the phone will come out of the box with a 1.8GHz Octa-Core processor, 6.4" Infinity-O PLS TFT LCD HD+ display with a resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels, housing an 8MP front facing secondary camera and will give 3GB and 4GB of RAM options with 32GB and 64GB of expandable internal storage space, respectively. The phone also features a 13MP primary camera on the rear accompanied by 2MP and 5MP lenses on the array for primary photography. Users will also be treated to a fingerprint reader on the back along with facial reorganization for added security and the phone powers on with a 5000mAh powered large battery that supports 15W fast charging, booting to Android's version 10 topped with Samsung's custom UI. We still have no information on the new Galaxy M11's availability nor pricing details just yet.

Huawei announces 2020 flagship P40 series


Huawei have announced their latest 2020 flagship P40 series of smartphones succeeding the previous generation P30 series from last year. The latest lineup will introduce their all new Huawei P40 vanilla model, as well as the higher-end Huawei P40 Pro and the P40 Pro+ (initially rumored as the P40 Pro Premium) smartphones, all partnered with the German company, Leica Camera AG, packing IP53 certification on the P40 and IP68 for P40 Pro and P40 Pro+, respectively for water and dust resistance, also bringing dual-mode 5G SA/NSA connectivity on board over dual-SIM and eSIM capabilities.

 The standard P40 will ship with their own Kirin 990 5G chipset and Mali-G76 MC16 GPU under the hood, a 6.1" OLED FHD+ quad-curved pill-shaped punch hole style Overflow Display with a 32MP secondary camera and a dedicated infrared (IR) camera for advanced facial recognition, but lacking a traditional earpiece, making the full display a sound emitting panel. The phone tots 8GB of RAM with 128GB of internal space, a triple camera module on the rear featuring a main 50MP Ultra Vision camera, a 16MP ultra wide angle sensor and an 8MP Telephoto lens with OIS. The P40 will include a 3800mAh powered battery with 22.5W SuperCharge and fast wireless charging with 22.5W SuperCharge car charger, running EMUI 10.1 based on Android OS version 10. Huawei P40 will be made available starting April 7 for a price beginning at 892.36 USD in shades of Silver Frost, Blush Gold, Deep Sea Blue, Ice White and Black colors.

The brand new P40 Pro will come with the same Huawei-made Kirin 990 5G processor coupled with Mali-G76 MC16 GPU, a larger 6.58" 2640 x 1200 resolution OLED quad-curved pill-shaped punch hole style Overflow Display featuring 90Hz screen refresh rate, with a 32MP secondary front  facing snapper and depth camera integrated with IR. The model again traits similar 8GB RAM with 256GB of on board space, a quad camera array on the back showing off the primary 50MP Ultra Vision camera with OIS, a 40MP Cine ultra wide angle sensor, a 12MP SuperSensing Telephoto lens with OIS and a 3D depth sensing camera (ToF). Huawei's P40 Pro will pack an improved 4200mAh powered battery unit with 40W SuperCharge and wireless SuperCharge worth Max 27W. The phone will boot to EMUI version 10.1 based on Android 10 and comes out of the box in the similar shades as the former, hitting the store shelves from April 7 with prices starting around $1115.73.

Finally speaking about the premium and higher-end P40 Pro+, the phone will also attribute the same custom-made Kirin 990 5G SoC with Mali-G76 MC16 GPU, an identical 6.58" 2640 x 1200 resolution OLED quad-curved pill-shaped punch hole style Overflow Display with 90Hz screen refreshing rate, housing the matching sensors from the P40 Pro sibling for handling selfies, video calling and facial unlocking. The internal flash memory for the smartphone is upgraded to 512GB, while the RAM remains the same at 8GB, but bringing changes to the primary camera setup around the rear side. The P40 Pro+ glory a penta camera arrangement with  50MP Ultra Vision main lens with OIS, a 40MP Cine ultra wide angle sensor, an 8MP SuperZoom camera featuring 10x optical zoom and OIS, another 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS, and lastly a 3D depth sensing Time of Flight (TOF) sensor. The variant will also have a 4200mAh powered battery with 40W worth of SuperCharge and wireless SuperCharge technology, making the Huawei P40 Pro+ the world's first smartphone with 40W wireless fast charging capability. From the software side the device will run the Android OS 10 topped with EMUI 10.1 and will be sold in White Ceramic and Black Ceramic hues crafted out of real durable ceramic. Customers will be able to grab the handset starting June for a price about $1562.47.

Nokia 5.3 and Nokia 1.3 goes official from HMD Global


We saw the smartphones leak in full glory a few days back and now we have the devices formally here from the Finnish mobile phone company Nokia, licensed under HMD Global. The Nokia 5.3 is joined by the new entry-level Android Go Edition-powered Nokia 1.3, making their appearance aside the flagship Nokia 8.3 5G smartphone. The middle-ranged Nokia 5.3 packs a 6.55" HD+ water drop style notch display at 20:9 ratio, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC, available in options of 3GB/4GB/6GB RAM variants with 64GB of on board expandable storage and features a 13MP quad rear camera module similarly shaped as the Nokia 8.3 5G with a dedicated fingerprint scanner positioned below the primary camera optics. On the front notch houses an 8MP secondary selfie snapper and packs a 4000mAh powered battery under the hood offering 2 days of power with 5V charging and runs Android's latest version 10, promising 3 years of software updates. The phone will be available internationally starting April shipping in Cyan, Sand and Charcoal hues, and will cost 203.43 USD for the base 4GB RAM/64GB ROM model.


The more affordable Nokia 1.3 comes out of the box with a 5.71" HD+ water drop style notch display at 19:9 ratio, Qualcomm QM215 chipset, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable internal space. The handset packs an 8MP main camera lens with AI, a 5MP front facing selfie camera and is powered by a 3000mAh battery unit with 5V charging and boots to Android 10 (Go Edition), also featuring a dedicated Google Assistant button. The phone will come to the global markets starting next month in Cyan, Sand and Charcoal colors and will sell for retail price around 102.25 USD.

HMD Global announces new 2020 flagship Nokia 8.3 5G


HMD Global announced their first 5G smartphone, coming to world as Nokia 8.3 5G. Following the launch of the smartphone, HMD Global also announced their expansion to Brazil this year. Coming back to the smartphone, the all new Nokia 8.3 5G is designed to support multiple and evolving 5G networks around the world, and will be the world's first smartphone to use the Qualcomm's 5G RF Front end module solution, as the phone features more than 40 different RF components in a single module, making the Nokia 8.3 5G a global device. The phone features a 6.81" FHD+ PureDisplay display, packing Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor on board, coupled by 6GB and 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB and 128GB of expandable storage options. Behind the device sits the round-shaped PureView quad camera array with ZEISS Optics, 64MP sensor in charge and dual high CRI flash light, while the front punch hole tots a 24MP secondary selfie snapper. Samsung announced Olympic Games Edition of Galaxy S20+ 5G in Japan


Samsung and NTT Docomo, the Japanese network service provider have partnered to unveil the latest and all new Galaxy S20+ 5G Olympic Games Edition in Matte Gold color. The new smartphone comes with 12GB RAM/128GB ROM and will be available for 1036.89 USD exclusively in the country, where you can now pre-order for the handset from Docomo's official website with shipments scheduled to begin from June. We don't know if Olympic Games will still take place due to the current situation of Coronavirus pandemic outbreak affecting countries around the world, but Samsung is official partner of the 2020 Summer Olympic Games (Tokyo 2020) and we heard that, the manufacturer will be gifting the new Samsung Galaxy S20+ Olympic Games Edition to all participating athletes.

The Cupertino based manufacturer announced their latest generation iPad Pro models for 2020, said to be their most advanced iPad Pro ever. The all new tablets come in two screen sizes, a 11" model and a 12.9" variant with ProMotion True Tone Liquid Retina displays, offering Pro performance with Apple's A12Z Bionic Octa-Core Chip based on the 64-bit architecture and Neural Engine. The primary cameras on the rear looks similar to the iPhone 11, adding a 10MP ultra wide sensor to the main 12MP wide angle lens capable of  capturing pictures and videos in 4K resolution with a dedicated LiDAR scanner that can deliver sharp images with cutting-edge depth-sensing capabilities, as well as integrating studio-quality-mics on board. Apple also claims their brand new iPad Pro models to be the world’s best devices for augmented reality. To the front you will see a 7MP TrueDepth secondary camera and the storage options include 128GB/256GB/512GB/1TB versions. The new 11" model houses a built-in 28.65-watt-hour rechargeable lithium-polymer battery while the iPad Pro 12.9" tots a larger 36.71-watt-hour rechargeable lithium-polymer battery under the hood and runs latest iPadOS, that now supports Apple's Trackpad. The manufacturer also introduced the new Magic Keyboard featuring cantilevered hinges, allowing a floating design for viewing angles upto 130 degrees. The slates will arrive in Silver and Space Gray colors, and will sell through Apple's online stores globally, as the Coronavirus shutdown continues around the world. The pricing starts at $799 for the 11" iPad Pro WiFi model and $949 for the WiFi + Cellular option, while the bigger sibling 12.9" iPad Pro's price starts at $999 for the WiFi-only variant and $1149 for the WiFi + Cellular model, both with base 128GB of internal space.

Realme announces 6i in Burma, world's first phone to feature MediaTek Helio G80 SoC


Realme held an event in Myanmar earlier yesterday, and announced their latest smartphone succeeding the recent Realme 5i from January, launching the very new Realme 6i. The new phone from the Chinese-based manufacturer is the world's first smartphone to feature MediaTek's Helio G80 gaming chipset, coming out of the box in Green Tea and White Milk color options and will sell in two memory variants. The 3GB RAM/64GB ROM model will cost you around 174.65 USD, while the 4GB RAM/128GB ROM adaption will set you back for $209.60 in the country with pre-orders starting today through March 26. The phone will pack an 6.5" HD+ IPS LCD water drop style notch display, 48MP quad camera array on the back with a 16MP front facing snapper. There is also a 5000mAh powered battery that charges at 18W and runs Android's version 10 with Realme's custom UI on top.

Motorola announced latest Moto e6s


Motorola have introduced their latest addition to the Moto e lineup of middle-ranged smartphones, the all new Moto e6s. The phone features standard primary dual camera sensors on the rear, water drop style notch display, a water-repellent design, and is said to offer everything a consumer needs at a price they all love. The phone has already made it's appearance on Motorola's website for United Kingdom, and ships in choices of Peacock Blue and Sunrise Red color options. Realme X50 Pro 5G finally lands in mainland China


After launching the smartphone to India and Europe earlier last month, Realme have finally announced their latest X50 Pro 5G to mainland China a few hours back. The handset comes to the country in the same Rust Red and Moss Green color options featuring identical internal hardware specifications and design from it's international sibling.
