Make sure to cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or use the inside of your elbow when you cough or sneeze. Properly dispose the used tissues in the trash, and immediately clean your hands with soap and water or a hand sanitizer.
Wear a face mask if you are sick or if you are around other people (e.g., sharing a room or vehicle) and before you enter a healthcare provider’s office. Do not wear a face mask unless you are caring for someone who is sick.

Sony announces latest Xperia 1 Mark II 5G with ZEISS optics and Sony Alpha camera technology


Sony announced their latest flagship smartphone, originally planned for the MWC 2020, coming down the line as their all new Xperia 1 II (Mark Two). The brand new Android 10 powered smartphone from the Japanese multinational company arrives integrating industry leading features such as the Sony's Alpha technology and ZEISS optics with anti-reflective coating for enhanced quality of photographs, precisely calibrated for the handset's primary triple camera module on the rear showcasing lenses with 16mm, 24mm and 70mm focal length respectively with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a custom fitted 3D iToF sensor.

 Following the latest trend, even Sony highlight's their next generation smartphone's frontrunner camera functionalities, bringing the best in class shooting capabilities on board for Xperia 1 Mark II. The handset traits autofocusing cameras (AF/AE3), offering users upto 20 frames-per-second and burst shooting with upto 60 times-per-second. Lastly, the Sony Xperia 1 Mark II is powered by a 4000mAh battery unit featuring both wired and Qi wireless fast charging technology, including AI-powered "Battery Care" on board for the betterment of your phone's overall battery health and performance. The phone is also water and dust resistant with IP65/68 certifications and proposes Corning's Gorilla Glass version 6 on front and back sides, shipping out in standard Black and Purple color options.

Sony’s latest Xperia L4 is their newest offering from the entry-level series in Europe


Sony announced yet another addition to their entry-level portfolio of entertainment-focused smartphones, launching the all new Xperia L4 in the European region. The newest Android-based smartphone from Sony arrives with the manufacturer's signature 21:9 tall aspect ratio, allowing users to see more on screen at once with fewer scroll. Sony have also integrated the multi-window UI onto the device, letting users take advantage of multitasking, by using two apps simultaneously on the same screen. Like the higher-end models, the Japanese multinational conglomerate corporation also introduced the side-mounted fingerprint scanner on the latest handset for advanced level of biometric protection as well as bringing the "Side sense" function that provides Xperia L4 users to access their favorite applications on one touch. In terms of appearance, the phone looks to carry a water-drop style notch display and triple camera arrangement on the rear featuring Sony's old school matte finish with NFC's labeling alongside their branding towards the center. For availability, the device will ship in two colors of Black and Blue shades, scheduled to go up for grabs starting this spring, in select markets.

 Now for a specification overview, the phone tots a 6.2" High Definition Plus Wide LCD display at 21:9 ratio, a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage space that can be further expanded upto 512GB via microSD card slot. From the camera department, we get a triple camera model as aforementioned, consisting of a 13MP main lens, 5MP ultra wide sensor and a 2MP depth camera on the back, with an 8MP secondary selfie sensor resting in the front notch. Sony and TCL Corporation cancels their MWC press conferences as well


Last week we heard about ZTE and LG cancelling their upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) press conferences in concern over the novel Coronavirus outbreak, considering the global emergency declared by the World Health Organisation (WHO) on the rising situation of the epidemic. Today we see a similar move from Sony and TCL as well. Sony have issued a new statement, announcing that, they have "taken the difficult decision to withdraw from exhibiting and participating at MWC 2020 in Barcelona, Spain." According to the manufacturer, they are closely monitoring the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak across the world and have decided to cancel their plans on attending the exhibition, giving "the utmost importance on the safety and well-being of our customers, partners, media and employees." Evidently, Sony will still go ahead with their launch event as a livestream at 8:30 AM (local time) as planned on February 24, via their official Xperia YouTube channel.

 As for the partially state-owned Chinese multinational electronics company, TCL Corporation, they have also confirmed the cancellation and withdrawal from exhibiting in their scheduled MWC 2020 global press event, which was planned for February 22, due to the concerns over the widespread of the virus. The manufacturer shared the latest update on their official Twitter handle, however letting us know that, the decision from the phone maker will not impact their MWC 2020 plans and will still debut their latest mobile devices and showcase them at their booth in Hall 3, Stand 3D11 between the dates of February 24 and February 27. Other companies who have joined the list are Amazon, Ericsson, and NVIDIA, who also dropped their MWC activities, keeping the present situation in mind.

Let's take a look at the leaked renders of purported Sony Xperia 5 Plus


New renders have emerged on the internet claiming it to be of the next generation smartphone from the Japanese multinational conglomerate corporation, Sony. We have managed to get our hands on these newly surfaced CAD-based renders as well as some leaked details of the alleged forthcoming Sony Xperia 5 Plus smartphone. The renders have again made it's way from the very popular Twitter duo, Steve H.McFly (also knows as @OnLeaks) and @Slashleaks who have collaborated to bring us some high definition renders of what could possibly be waiting in line from Sony to debut as the all new Xperia 5 Plus.

 Even before taking a closer look we can tell that this model displayed here by the users from Twitter looks very similar to the company's previously launched phones, especially the vanilla Xperia 5 (announced back in September 2019), again following the same tall display aspects as well as the bezels pattern, camera module (but with more sensors this time) and LED flash placement, just like the existing predecessor. The new phone shared by the leaksters have been painted in a Blue shade and looks to bring barely any bezels on the left and right sides, only having a narrow forehead (featuring the single lens secondary selfie camera and the earpiece along with dual front facing speaker) and chin (again traiting the second half of the dual front facing speaker cutout) to top and bottom, respectively. The hardware button placement looks to be all on the right side, starting off with volume controls, power button with integrated fingerprint scanner and what looks to be a dedicated camera shutter button to the lower part. On the left side we can see a cover that is likely to be popped open to reveal the SIM card tray. On the bottom we see a USB Type-C port for connectivity and a hole cutout on the chassis for microphone. On the top side we can confirm the presence of a 3.5mm headphone jack and a hole for secondary microphone.

Now coming to the back of the phone, we are looking at a camera module with four optics in total, coming along with a ToF (Time of Flight) sensor, all positioned to the top left corner much alike the standard Xperia 5 variant. The phone looks to be crafted out of a combination of boxy metal frames and glass for more premium feel. Lastly when we we talk about some more leaked specs of the device, we are anticipating to see the professed Xperia 5 Plus come with a display roughly measuring about 6.6" diagonally in a flat OLED panel, an 8MP front facing selfie camera, and the whole unit should measure somewhere around 168.2 x 71.6 x 8.1 mm in dimensions, (including the camera bump you should see it the scale go up to 9.3 mm).

Sony may bring back the Compact lineup of smartphones according to new rumors


We are sure you haven't forgotten Sony's Xperia smartphone glory and their devices from back then. The Japanese manufacturer was highly popular for introducing Xperia branded handsets in both large and small screen sizes, especially when it comes to their flagship devices. The company followed a trend of announcing their frontrunners with bigger displays and they were partnered by a Compact model that traited smaller screen displays featuring almost similar internals from it's pricier sibling.

 So now when coming to the new story we heard from phoneArena.com the Tokyo based multinational telecommunications company, is reportedly in plans of launching a new smartphone that is supposedly bringing back the long faded away Compact series from Sony Mobile. We learn that it's not going to be the same for Sony and their Compact fleet as the phone maker seems to be drifting their concentration to a high-end mid-ranger rather than small screen flagship according the ostensibly out details.

 We don't really know about the authenticity of this latest report that just showed up, but as always taking it with a pinch salt, Sony is allegedly working on a new smartphone and we may see a device that measures about 60mm x 138mm around the body, that should be slightly slimmer and recognizably shorter compared to the present Sony Xperia 5. The smartphone is also said to carry the same tall 21:9 aspect ratio like it's predecessors. Lastly, the purported Xperia Compact is even expected to come out of the box powered by a next generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor.

Sony goes official with Xperia E3 in IFA event



The Japanese manufacturer has announced a new affordable LTE smartphone named Xperia E3 in their IFA event held in Berlin. It looks similar like it's Z3 line-up, but comes with broader bezels. The handset also comes in dual-SIM version. The display is made of durable tempered glass, distinctive aluminum buttons and resilient corners.

 Xperia E3 packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset clocked at 1.2GHz processor and Adreno 305 Graphics Processing Unit, 4.5-inches IPS screen with the resolution of 480 x 854 display, four gigs of Read Only Memory (expandable via microSD card slot up to 32GB), one gigabyte of Random Access Memory, five megapixels Sony Exmor RS sensor primary camera with Auto Scene Recognition, High Dynamic Range for pictures and LED light, a 1.3 megapixels front-facing camera, 2,330mAh powered battery and runs Android's version 4.4 KitKat on the board.

 For connectivity the new phone supports Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, 4G LTE, A-GPS with Glonass, microUSB port and FM-Radio with RDS. The device dimensions are 137.1 x 69.4 x 8.7 mm thickness and weighs 144.7 grams on mass. The phone delivers standby of 569 hours and talk time of 740 minutes. It will be soon available in White, Black, Orange and Yellow color options.

IFA brings the new Sony SmartWatch 3 powered by Android Wear and SmartBand Talk



Sony along with the new Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact smartphones and Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, yesterday, announced their newest and latest addition of wearables to the company's existing SmartWear Experience, in their IFA Press event in Berlin, Germany.

 The new products out from the Japan based manufacturer is named as SmartWatch 3, which is a follow on from their previous generation SmartWatch 2, this time around powered by Google's latest wearable operating system, Android Wear. But, now we also have a new SmartBand Talk, coming with built-in on board microphone and speaker, for phone call conversation, from the connected smartphone, also supporting HD Voice and Sony’s integrated Voice Control technology.

Sony unveils flagship Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact at IFA

The firm has announced and updated their addition of Xperia Z fleet with couple of new smartphones, one being their year's front runner and another one a compact version for the new bellwether.

Sony announces waterproof mid-ranged Xperia M2 Aqua in UK



Sony Mobile Communications or Sony Mobile has announced a new smartphone in the United Kingdom, named as Xperia M2 Aqua. The new handset from the company will come affordable and is the Japanese first ever device to pack in their popular water resistance in a middle ranged budget friendly price tag, offering it's users with the IP65/68-certification ratings on board, also featuring Sony's signature OmniBalance design. The new smartphone unveiled by Sony will be available in both Black and White color options, and we expect the new handset to begin it's sales by this year's Autumn 2014, and should arrive in markets including, Latin America, Asia Pacific and Europe.

Alleged Sony Xperia Z3 pictures surfaces on the web



Sony's next flagship smartphone seems to be featured on the internet now, as we have couple of Chinese forum and social media websites posting some of the pictures of an upcoming Sony smartphone, which is allegedly reported as the Japanese company's next front runner smartphone, named Xperia Z3.

 If these wordings of XPERIA blog are to be believed, the live hands on images that came indeed gives us a better look at the looming Sony smartphone, at all angles. And when we take a closer look the the photographs that leaked earlier yesterday, we can understand that, there isn't any kind of ground breaking changes made on the impending purported Sony Xperia Z3 smartphone, when compared to the current model, Xperia Z2. First and foremost the device here looks more curved on the edges, than the Sony made Xperia Z1or Z2 smartphones, reportedly making it more comfortable to hold, unlike the more flatter edges from the present bellwether Xperia branded smartphone.

 Other changes in the phone's industrial design includes the re-positioning of it's speaker. We now have a single speaker instead of the stereo speakers as seen from the Xperia Z2, which has been placed on the left side of the smartphone, right below the magnetic connector. The unit will have it's microSD card slot, microSIM card slot and microUSB port covered with flaps, making it dust and water resistant, alongside the power button, volume up and down rockers and the dedicated camera shutter button on either sides of the smartphone. On the top of the handset sits the 3.5 millimeters headphone jack with the secondary microphone. Sony brings new Xperia Z2a in Taiwan



Sony had announced a new smartphone in Taiwan, yesterday, dubbed as the Xperia Z2a. The new Android running smartphone is a renamed version of the company's Xperia ZL2 handset in Japan, which was announced past in late March. The new phone from Sony will be the first ever smartphone from the manufacturer to take advantage of Taiwan's full-band fourth generation LTE 700MHz, 900MHz and 1800MHz network capabilities. Like other new Sony smartphone, this new kid from the Xperia family will be too IP55/IP58-certified, making it dust and water resistant up to 1 meter and for 30 minutes.

 Xperia Z2a will sport a Quad-Core Qualcomm MSM8974AB Snapdragon 801 processor, clocked at 2.3GHz and Adreno 330 Graphics Processing Unit, 5-inches TRILUMINOS IPS LCD screen of 1920 x 1080 resolution display, featuring Sony's Mobile Bravia Engine 2 and X-Reality mobile picture engine marked at 440 pixels-per-inch, 16 gigabytes of internal mass storage (expandable via microSD card slot), three gigabytes of Random Access Memory, 20.7 megapixels primary camera on the back with CMOS 1/2.3-inch Exmor RS lens and LED flash, that's capable of capturing Ultra High Definition videos and on the front sits a 0.3 megapixels VGA secondary front facing snapper.  The new device from Sony is said to launch in Taiwan soon, which can also be purchased from countryside carriers like, Chunghwa Telecom, FarEasTone and Taiwan Mobile. Sony Xperia Z2a will cost you 18900 New Taiwan Dollars, that is around 633 United States Dollars, coming in Black, White and Turquoise color options. Sony Xperia C3 is now officially announced


Sony, a Japanese multinational company has announced a new phablet named Xperia C3. The firm claims that the new phone is the world's best selfie smartphone. The device comes in dual-SIM version too. The device will be available some time around in August. Pricing of the handset isn't revealed yet.

Sony sets out Xperia T3 for the public



Sony had teased an announcement on their social media accounts in the past days, where now they have gone official with company's first and also the world's slimmest 5.3-inch smartphone, named as Sony Xperia T3. As said by the Japanese multinational conglomerate corporation, the phone is extremely light and it is designed exquisitely from premium materials including stainless steel, than just cheap polycarbonate.

 As read above, the phone is ultra-light and just seven millimeters thick, which is made out of stainless steel build construction frame, which also functions as an antenna at the same time. The phone is durable and robust, where the new Xperia smartphone stays dust and water resistant, if we are not wrong. On the back of the handset, returns the plastic back cover made out of matte material.

NTT DoCoMo and Sony outs Xperia A2 in Japan



Sony or the Japanese multinational conglomerate corporation has announced yet another affordable smartphone along with their flagship, Xperia Z2 to the countryside carrier, NTT DoCoMo.

 The new mobile from the company is named as the Xperia A2, which almost resembles the company's previously announced handset, Xperia Z1 Compact in it's industrial design, with matte finished plastic back. The new phone will have IP 5X and IP X5 certifications, proving dust and water resistance, on board. The new smartphone is also said to have the same internals as seen from a Xperia Z1 Compact, coming to the store shelves in new color options, starting from Lavender, Orange, Grey Black to White. The carrier will take pre-orders for Xperia A2 from today, where the phone will arrive in middle of next month.

Sony's Xperia ZL2 gets officially announced



The Japanese multinational conglomerate corporation, Sony has announced a new smartphone named Xperia ZL2 in Japan. Like the previous smartphones, the ZL2 is also waterproof and dust resistant. The smartphone have narrow bezels and rounded corners. We have got the details and specifications of the device.

Sony's next generation Xperia Z2 Tablet gets sanctioned

Sony goes official with Xperia Z2



Sony's rumored smartphone Sirius is now official from the Japanese multinational electronics manufacturer. Today at the company's Mobile World Congress Press show, the firm announced their next generation handset and their 2014 flagship phone, the Xperia Z2.

Sony teasing their upcoming MWC event



It was Samsung earlier, and now we have the people from Japan, teasing their upcoming event for the Mobile World Congress trade show. Sony's official YouTube account shares a small 15 seconds video teasing what the company has got to bring along this Monday morning, 8:30 AM CET, live from Barcelona, Spain.

 The new video hints us words like "Something extraordinary is coming", hashtaged with #XperiaDetails and tips "What comes next?". From the leak tags of Sony till date, we have been rumored with the codenamed Sirius or model named D6502 for a while now, which seems to be the firm's 2014 front runner handset, the so called Xperia Z2. We have other reports suggesting to see the next generation Japanese branded Xperia Z2 tablet also to fall in list of announcements, Sony has got scheduled on 24th of February, 2014.
