Sony's next announcement in our category that came in yesterday at their International Franchise Association (IFA) Press Conference from Berlin, Germany is of the company's new slate, which is named after their latest addition of Xperia smartphones, the new Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact. This new Android powered tablet from the makes of Sony is said to be the world's thinnest and lightest waterproof compact tablet, ever announced till date. The tablet introduces a new compact design, bringing more of a matte finish to the back of the device, unlike the glass work used in other products from the Sony Xperia Z3 fleet, which is made out of high quality materials, and showcases new unique designed power button, and adds more details with the stainless steel corners around the chassis, that is constructed maintaining the ultra slim rounded frame and featuring tough protected tempered glass on the front, completing both the luxurious and durable finish. The new unit is just 6.4 millimeters thick, renaming the definition of slim and thin tablets. Once you are holding the new Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, the device feels really light at only 270 grams, which is very minimal amount of weight when compared to other first-rate tablets from the existing markets.

The newly unveiled slate here redefines the Android 4.4 KitKat experience with custom Xperia User Interface, booting up with one of the most powerful Quad-Core empowered Qualcomm MSM8974AB Snapdragon 801 processor, speeding at 2.5GHz, alike the recently announced Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact, also featuring a high standard sharp, crisp and bright eight-inches Full High Definition screen of 1200 x 1920 resolution display, marked at 283 pixels-per-inch, with Sony’s TRILUMINOS display for mobile and also attributing the new Live Color LED and X-Reality for mobile engine technology, also a new intuitive contrast technology, enhancing the screen brightness level as well. The Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact even packs the latest of Sony's best in class audio technology, and let's you remind about the efficient Adreno 330 Graphics Processing unit and the PlayStation 4 Remote Play2 functions on slate, for great handheld mobile gaming experience, scaling down the new audio fidelity technology, DSEE HX, making the newly announced Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact the only Sony tablet to ship with certain premium features from the Japanese multinational conglomerate corporation.There we again witness the IP65/68-certifications on board to make the most out of it's dust and water resistance level of protection.
Under the hood, the you will get 16 gigabytes of internal mass storage option (expandable via microSD card slot up to 128 gigabytes), coupled by three gigabytes of Random Access Memory, 8.1 megapixel main camera on the back with Sony's own Exmor RS sensor for mobile, helps you capture decent pictures in low light conditions. Around the front, you will have a 2.2 megapixels secondary snapper, both records Full High Definition videos at 1080p resolution.
