And finally have the Chinese multinational technology company Huawei announced their their latest Android lineup of smartphones carrying the Nova 6 tag. We have been seeing a lot on the upcoming handsets lately in several renders that surfaced on the internet from the manufacturer's home country. And after all the wait and anticipation, we have the Chinese phone maker launching the all new Nova 6 5G, the standard Nova 6 and the Nova 6 SE as expected without any surprises.
The phone doesn't seem to be any different from what we have seen in the past, the higher-end NSA/SA dual-mode 5G enabled Nova 6 5G will come out of the box with HiSilicon's flagship Kirin 990 processor featuring Balong 5000 5G multi-mode chipset coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage space. Apart from the 5G connectivity and a slightly smaller battery of 4100mAh capacity, the vanilla Nova 6 will trait identical specifications to it's pricier brother. You will find a 6.57" Full High Definition Plus SuperAMOLED screen of 2400 x 1080 resolution display, also bringing along the oval shaped hole punch style cutout for the dual secondary front facing cameras on the top left corner. The camera setup on the front houses a 32MP sensor with an aperture f/2.2 on the 5G variant and f/2.0 aperture on the standard version bundled with an 8MP ultra wide angel groupfie camera with aperture f/2.0 as well.
When coming to the back, you will see a triple camera positioning, that is in charge of primary photography with a 40MP main lens carrying an aperture of f/1.8, an 8MP telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS), and another 8MP ultra wide angel sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The Nova 6's 5G model will also come with a 4200mAh powered battery capable of 40W worth SuperCharge technology. The 8GB RAM/128GB model of Nova 6 5G will cost you around $540.19 and the 8GB RAM/256GB model will set you back for $597.07, while the normal 4G iteration can be bagged for $454.88 for the 8GB RAM/128GB option. Pre-orders have already begun in it's country of origin and the sales will go live starting December 12.
Now when taking a look at the newly arrived Huawei Nova 6 SE, the all new smartphone from the people in China will be a mid-ranged smartphone compare to the Nova 6 5G and standard Nova 6. Shipping with a 6.4" Full High Definition Plus display with a single punch hole style camera cutout on the front again towards the top left corner that embraces a 16MP front facer. The device will run with HiSilicon's Kirin 810 chipset and also offers 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage space. From the camera department, the Nova 6 SE comes with a quad camera arrangement, that features 48MP main lens, an 8MP ultra wide angel sensor, 2M lens for macro shots and another 2MP sensor for depth in pictures. Huawei's mid-ranger is also powered by a 4200mAh battery with support to 40W SuperCharge.
All these new models from Huawei will have a side-mounted fingerprint reader that also acts as a physical power button. The smartphones will even showcase Android 10 based EMUI 10 from the software section. The 8GB RAM/128GB model of Nova 6 SE will retail for $312.68 across China and like it's bigger siblings, Huawei is now taking pre-orders with sales starting from 12th of this month.
