As expected from the Chinese technology company owned by BBK Electronics finally took the wrap of their latest offering in China, after bringing the smartphone to us in several leaks and rumors lately. The all new Vivo made iQOO New 855 Racing Edition has made it to their home country officially from of the manufacturer earlier yesterday in Electric Light Mint, Carbon Black and Iceland Aurora color options. The newly launched gaming friendly smartphone from Vivo will be their upgrade to the original iQOO Neo 855 handset that was launched back in October, but this time around coming with a brand new Qualcomm powered Snapdragon 855+ chipset running faster than the standard version at 2.96GHz, as suggested from the previously out reports. The device will ship with a 10 layer heat dissipation structure and a multi-layer composite graphite heat dissipation film, even attributing ultra long liquid cooling and heating pipes under the hood. You will additionally find curable thermally conductive gel sealed in it's high thermal conductivity aluminum alloy frame, for faster cooling when you are fired up with some high-end mobile gaming skills on the iQOO Neo 855 Racing Edition.
The phone will also bring along a 6.38" Full High Definition Plus Samsung made SuperAMOLED panel of 2340 x 1080 resolution display at 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display will also house an on-screen fingerprint scanner, traiting support to HDR10 for more vivid and natural detailing. The internals will include LPDDR4X 12GB of RAM, featuring 128GB of UFS 3.0 high speed flash memory. There will also be a 8GB RAM/128GB model up for sale from Vivo for newest version of iQOO Neo 855. Now when we move to the back, users are greeted to a triple camera arrangement that shoots with a 12MP primary shooter, 8MP ultra wide angel lens and a 2MP field of depth sensor. From the front, sits a 16MP secondary front facing camera in a water drop style notch design. Powering everything on this performance loaded smartphone will be a 4500mAh battery capable of 33W flash charging. On the software department the new iQOO New 855 Racing Edition will run on Monster UI based Android version 9.
You can already pre-order for the phone from the company's official website and device will go on sale in it's country of origin starting December 12. The 8GB RAM/128GB option will cost you around $368.78, unfortunately the price details for the 12GB RAM variant is not clear from Vivo.
