Nokia, the Finnish multinational technology company owned and operated by HMD Global has announced their latest addition to the budget-friendly smartphone lineup, named Nokia 2.3. The all new Android One powered smartphone will come with a very affordable price tag that only costs about $120.54, that will be coming to select countries starting it's sales in the mid of December. In terms of design, the new low-end handset from Nokia and HMD Global will arrive in Cyan Green, Sand and Charcoal color options, and packs a dedicated hardware button on the left side for Google Assistant. The overall design from the back of the Nokia 2.3 features a 3D nano-textured cover for added grip in handling and the die-cast metal chassis with polymer shell is said to give the phone more rigidity.
Talking about the specifications, the smartphone will come with a 6.2" screen of 720p High Definition Plus display with the water drop style notch design housing the front facing camera that features the 19:9 aspect ratio. From inside the phone runs with the MediaTek Helio A22 chipset bundled with 2GB of RAM and a 32GB of internal storage space that can be expandable. The dual-SIM supported smartphone will also pack a dual camera setup on the back that brings a 13MP primary shooter with an aperture of f/2.2 and a 2MP sensor for depth sensing. From the front you will be treated to a basic 5MP secondary camera for selfies with an aperture of f/2.4, also supporting facial unlocking functionality. Interestingly, the Nokia 2.3 carries a large 4000mAh powered battery that Nokia boasts to give users 2 days worth of charge and will come out of box with Android One traiting stock version Android 9 Pie. The manufacturer has promised to deliver 2 years of operating system updates and 3 years of monthly security updates as well.
