Protect yourself from Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The best way to prevent the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic illness is by avoiding your exposure to the virus. Clean your hands often, use soap and water for at least 20 seconds or a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol to clean your hands more frequently.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands or after being in the public.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Maintain a safe distance between yourself and other people if COVID-19 is spreading in your community.
Stay home if you’re sick and take help from local health authorities and medical professionals.
Make sure to cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or use the inside of your elbow when you cough or sneeze. Properly dispose the used tissues in the trash, and immediately clean your hands with soap and water or a hand sanitizer.
Wear a face mask if you are sick or if you are around other people (e.g., sharing a room or vehicle) and before you enter a healthcare provider’s office. Do not wear a face mask unless you are caring for someone who is sick.

Galaxy XCover Pro has been officially announced by Samsung


Just a few hours back we showed you the leaked press renders of the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro. And now it looks like the South Koreans have decided to finally launch their latest addition to the rugged and robust lineup of smartphones with their all new Galaxy XCover Pro, that is durable and resilient up to a fair extend. Like we told you in in the previous story, the phone will come with IP69 certifications as well as US Military grade MIL-STD-810G certifications on board making the new handset from Samsung waterproof and shockproof, capable of withstanding falls from up to 1.5 meters.

The device also packs two programmable hardware buttons, that can perform a set of assigned functions for quick assistance. As mentioned, the Galaxy XCover Pro is targeted towards people working outdoors as well as for business purposes, as the smartphone traits support to mPOS or mobile point of sale that will help in scanning barcodes and processing payments, all secured with Samsung's KNOX technology, which is the manufacturer's security feature for personal and enterprise use. The fingerprint scanner is integrated to the power button of the smartphone and positioned to the left side.

When we look at the product's internal specification details, the phone tots a 6.3" Full High Definition Plus LCD screen at 20:9 aspect ratio, also embracing a single punch hole style front facing camera on the upper left corner, that houses a 13MP secondary front facing selfie sensor. The display is sensitive enough to detect touches even when the user is wearing gloves. XCover Pro's processing cores feature Samsung's own Exynos 9611 Octa-Core chipset clocked at 2.0 GHz, and comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of flash memory, that can be further expanded upto 512GB via a microSD card slot. Turning the device around, there sits a dual camera arrangement with a 25MP primary lens and an 8MP ultra wide angle lens with LED flash below the lenses. The most exciting part of this smartphone is it's removable 4050mAh powered battery, that supports 15W fast charging technology though a USB Type-C port for connectivity. The device will boot to Android's version 9 Pie with Samsung's One UI on top. From the words of the sources, the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro will be available starting January 31 in Europe, first in Finland for a price of 556.25 USD equivalent to Euros.
