Samsung's yet another smartphone that may launch soon should be their rugged Galaxy XCover Pro, the very same resilient phone that has been in discussion for a while now. The new handset following the tough design from the South Koreans can be expected in early February, according to our sources from Germany. The model number for the purported Galaxy XCover Pro is mentioned as SM-G715F and may arrive with a price tag under $556.80.
The Samsung made XCover Pro is anticipated to be a middle-ranged Android-powered smartphone, that will ship with IP68 certification, giving the phone it's durability and resistance from water, dust, shocks and other impacts. According to the rumored reports, the phone will supposedly carry a Push-To-Talk button and functionality support to reply messages, since the device is targeted for people working outdoors. For added biometric protection, we can expect the fingerprint scanner to be integrated to the power button on the side of the handset. The reports claim the weight of XCover Pro to be somewhere around 200 grams in mass and thickness about 10 millimeters, making the new product from Samsung a more compact device, when compared to other robust smartphones present in the market.
In the front you will have a display with rounded edges and single punch hole style front facing camera on the panel that traits minimal amount if bezels on all four sides. The back of the device appears to be made out of a combination of tough plastic and rubber materials with a design that adds more grip when handing the smartphone. At the top left corner we see a dual camera arrangement with LED flashlight and the volume buttons looks to positioned to right side. On the left we can spot a differently colored button (what looks like the power button with integrated fingerprint reader) and if you look closely you will even find a third button on the top right side (what appears to be like the aforementioned Push-To-Talk button).
So now moving to the specification overview as suggested by the tipster, we are probably looking at a 6.3" LCD display on the front at 20:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. Under the hood we believe to see a Samsung Exynos 9611 Octa-Core chipset clocked at 2.0 GHz, that is coupled by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of on board internal storage space, that is likely to be further expanded via a microSD card slot. From the camera department, on the main camera module could come a 25MP optics bundled with an 8MP ultra wide angle lens and in the front punch hole cutout allegedly houses a 13MP sensor for selfies. In terms of power, interestingly we might get a removable 4020mAh powered battery and support USB Type-C connectivity alongside NFC and Bluetooth's version 5.0. The device will run Android's version 10 with Samsung's One UI 2.0 on top. But don't forget to take all these details with a pinch of salt until we hear anything officially from manufacturer itself.
