Alcatel-Lucent, the French global telecommunications equipment company have announced couple of new middle ranged Android powered smartphones, named as the new One Touch Fierce 2 and One Touch Evolve 2 in tie with the United States based wireless network operator, T-Mobile. The smartphones are said to be reasonably priced and targets more of teenage consumers or students, basically getting back busy with their school and stuff.
According to Simon Sage from Android Central, the phone should be available starting next month both online and from T-Mobile retailer stores nationwide, but unfortunately the exact pricing details are not disclosed at the moment. The new handsets are expected to make it's rounds at Alcatel's booth, next week at the International Franchise Association (IFA), in Berlin, Germany.
One Touch Fierce 2
So, when the internal specifications of the first phone, which is the One Touch Fierce 2 is taken to mention, the phone will tot a Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, clocked at 1.2GHz, a five-inch qHD screen of 540 x 960 resolution display, four gigabytes of internal mass storage (expandable via microSD card slot), one gigabyte of Random Access Memory (RAM), 5 megapixels primary shooter on the back with LED flash light and auto-focus, a VGA front facing secondary camera, 2000mAh powered battery offering you juice up to six hours of talk time and 350 hours of standby, running Android's version 4.4 KitKat with custom User Interface on top and Fierce 2 is 9.9 millimeters in thickness.
One Touch Evolve 2
The second guy is the new Alcatel One Touch Evolve 2, which will be the slightly downgraded version, coming out of the box with a Dual -Core processor, running at 1.3GHz, a four-inch WVGA screen of 800 x 480 resolution pixels, four gigabytes of internal mass storage (again expandable via microSD card slot), 512 megabyte of Random Access Memory (RAM), the same 5 megapixels primary lens on the back and a VGA front facer, a lower 1,400mAh powered battery offering users juice up to six hours on talk time and 350 hours for standby, alike the other model, attributing Android's version 4.4 KitKat on board with custom UI.
