Protect yourself from Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The best way to prevent the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic illness is by avoiding your exposure to the virus. Clean your hands often, use soap and water for at least 20 seconds or a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol to clean your hands more frequently.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands or after being in the public.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Maintain a safe distance between yourself and other people if COVID-19 is spreading in your community.
Stay home if you’re sick and take help from local health authorities and medical professionals.
Make sure to cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or use the inside of your elbow when you cough or sneeze. Properly dispose the used tissues in the trash, and immediately clean your hands with soap and water or a hand sanitizer.
Wear a face mask if you are sick or if you are around other people (e.g., sharing a room or vehicle) and before you enter a healthcare provider’s office. Do not wear a face mask unless you are caring for someone who is sick.

Microsoft announces Nokia X2, an affordable smartphone

Just days back we had hinted you about Nokia teasing an announcement on their Conversations webpage for 24th of June. Well, today the Microsoft owned company has announced their next generation and successor model from their current X fleet, powered by Android operating system, named as Nokia X2.

The new smartphone from the Redmond Microsoft and Finnish Nokia will add new dashing design and features to the newly announced smartphone, Nokia X2. From it's exterior hardware, the fresh handset is said to remain as bold as the original Nokia X, but will append a shiny new translucent outer layer on the back of the device, unlike their previously announced Nokia X line-up of smartphones, that included Nokia X, X+ and XL, which was announced with a matte finish. This new X2 will moreover look like the lately unveiled Nokia Asha smartphones, with this new change in the exterior, making it yet another glossy Nokia phone.

Also the brand new Nokia X2 features the company's traditional Fastlane homescreen, that is useful in responding to any notification, launching an application and even navigating through different kind of tasks you have been performing in a day on the X2. Nokia finally decided to add a couple of capacitive buttons to their new smartphone, where it has got the home and back options sitting under the bottom of the display in front, for better and easy multitasking. The phone comes with this new 'helmsmanship' option called, "app list", which will keep your phone's homescreen clear for the most recently used applications, like any other Lumia smartphones and also shares it's tile color-picker feature, on board.

When we see through it's internals, we sport a revamped Dual-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, at clock speeds of 1.2GHz, a slightly bigger 4.3-inches WVGA ClearBlack LCD screen of 800 x 480 resolution display, at 217 pixels-per-inch, also compensating brightness control, tactile feedback, orientation sensor, Nokia's Glance screen, double-tap to wake functions, protected by a scratch resistant glass. X2 tots four gigabytes of internal storage (expandable via microSD card slot up to 32 GB), one gigabyte of Random Access Memory (RAM), five megapixels main camera on the back with auto-focus and LED flash light and on the front there is a VGA webcamera perfect for Skype calls. The new phone is a dual-SIM version, which also packs Bluetooth 4.0 and WCDMA network support, a 1,800mAh powered battery, which has a maximum standby time with dual-SIM for up to 23 days and maximum talk time of 13 hours over 3G. The handset is running Nokia X software platform, based on Android. The phone is 121.7 x 68.3 x 11.1 millimeters in dimensions and 150 grams heavy on mass.

Nokia X2 will come pre-installed with Android applications including, Skype, Outlook.com and OneDrive with 15 gigabytes of free cloud storage. You can also download other Android apps from the dedicated Nokia Store on the smartphone. As said in the past, the device will not ship with Google Play or other Google Service's installed on them, but users can easily side-load any Android application using the microSD card and also by downloading third party Android app markets from the Nokia Store, like 1Mobile Market.

The smartphone will be coming in glossy Green, Orange, Black, Yellow and White colors, followed by a matte Dark Grey shade, later this year. Microsoft and Nokia will bring their new smartphone to select countries, globally for just €99, around 135 United States Dollars, unlocked.
