The India's second largest manufacturer for smartphones and tablets, Micromax has announced two new smartphones in their homeland, named as Canvas Win W121 And Canvas Win W092. The two new handsets from the company will be the firm's first ever Microsoft partnered devices, running Windows Phone 8.1 on board. Also making their debut on the second operating system in the country.
According to the reports, this new announcement from the company will bring three big brands together, like Micromax, Microsoft and Qualcomm. The devices will be available for the consumers by the starting of the next month, July. The new Micromax Canvas Win W121 will be sold affordable for 9500 Indian Rupees, which is about 158 United States Dollars and Canvas Win W092 will cost you only 6500 Indian Rupees, about 108 USD.
According to the Chairman of the company, Sanjay Kapoor, "attractive price points will be able to pull customers who will appreciate the device performance and quality."
The new Canvas Win W121 will come out of the box featuring a Quad-Core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, five-inches High Definition IPS screen of 720p resolution display, an eight gigabytes of internal mass storage (expandable via microSD card slot) and one gigabyte of Random Access Memory, eight megapixels main shooter on the back with LED flash light and a two megapixels front facer. The phone will sport proximity, gravity and light sensors under the hood.
Where else, the Canvas Win W092 smartphone will also pack the same Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, eight gigabytes of expandable internal storage, one gigabyte of RAM, five megapixels primary lens with LED flash light, 0.3 megapixels front facer and a 1,500mAh powered battery. The new releases from Micromax will both have dual-SIM capabilities on top and runs Windows Phone's latest version 8.1.
