Wear a face mask if you are sick or if you are around other people (e.g., sharing a room or vehicle) and before you enter a healthcare provider’s office. Do not wear a face mask unless you are caring for someone who is sick.

Microsoft and Nokia goes official with Lumia 830



Microsoft owned Finnish phone manufacturer, Nokia has announced their new affordable flagship smartphone and the very latest edition of the Nokia Lumia family, named as the new Lumia 830. This new Nokia Lumia smartphone will also continue to have the same design followed from their previously announced Lumia handsets, featuring a metal constructed frame around the smartphone this time and the body is of course made out of polycarbonate build, partially.

Nokia Lumia 730 smartphone leaks, running the new 'Debian Red' firmware of WP 8.1



Nokia's next generation smartphone and their Lumia 720 handset successor model, which was announced back early in 2013, dubbed as the new impending Lumia 730 is here in pictures showing off it's front and back to the camera. Verizon sources posts HTC One M8 running Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone's Press render



HTC has been preparing an new smartphone based on the company's latest flagship smartphone, HTC One 2014 (M8), but running a different mobile operating system than Android, reportedly attributing Microsoft's Windows Phone version 8.1. Accordingly the Taiwanese phone manufacturing company has already scheduled a Press Conference in New York City, United States, on the upcoming date of 19th August, Tuesday, where the whole tech world believes the firm to unveil the new rumored smartphone officially.

Nokia goes official with Lumia 530



Nokia has announced yet another Windows Phone 8.1 powered handset, named as the new Lumia 530. Nokia's LTE capable affordable smartphone, that was announced in the past April, now seems to be heading to the United States's telecommunication network carrier, AT&T, as we have the industry leading smartphone tipster, evleaks sharing the pictures of the upcoming middle-ranged Windows Phone from Nokia and AT&T, Lumia 635 in Black tinge.

Xolo has announced four new smartphones named Q1000 Opus 2, Q600s, Play 6X-1000 and Win Q900s. Firstly, the Xolo Q1000 Opus 2 packs a Quad-Core Snapdragon 200 Central Processing Unit (CPU) clocked at 1.2GHz processor, Adreno 302 Graphics Processing Unit, 5-inches IPS screen marked at 220 pixel per inch, four gigs of on board memory (expandable via microSD card slot up to 32GB). 

 One gigabyte of Random Access Memory, 8 megapixels auto-focus primary camera capable of recording 720p videos with LED flash light, a two megapixels front-facing camera, 2,000mAh powered battery and runs Android version 4.3 Jelly Bean on the top.The dimensions of the device are 143 x 73 x 9.3 mm thick. Micromax goes official with Windows Phone 8.1 powered Canvas Win W121 and Canvas Win W092



The India's second largest manufacturer for smartphones and tablets, Micromax has announced two new smartphones in their homeland, named as Canvas Win W121 And Canvas Win W092. The two new handsets from the company will be the firm's first ever Microsoft partnered devices, running Windows Phone 8.1 on board. Also making their debut on the second operating system in the country.

 According to the reports, this new announcement from the company will bring three big brands together, like Micromax, Microsoft and Qualcomm. The devices will be available for the consumers by the starting of the next month, July. The new Micromax Canvas Win W121 will be sold affordable for 9500 Indian Rupees, which is about 158 United States Dollars and Canvas Win W092 will cost you only 6500 Indian Rupees, about 108 USD.

 According to the Chairman of the company, Sanjay Kapoor, "attractive price points will be able to pull customers who will appreciate the device performance and quality."

 The new Canvas Win W121 will come out of the box featuring a Quad-Core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, five-inches High Definition IPS screen of 720p resolution display, an eight gigabytes of internal mass storage (expandable via microSD card slot) and one gigabyte of Random Access Memory, eight megapixels main shooter on the back with LED flash light and a two megapixels front facer. The phone will sport proximity, gravity and light sensors under the hood.

 Where else, the Canvas Win W092 smartphone will also pack the same Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor, eight gigabytes of expandable internal storage, one gigabyte of RAM, five megapixels primary lens with LED flash light, 0.3 megapixels front facer and a 1,500mAh powered battery. The new releases from Micromax will both have dual-SIM capabilities on top and runs Windows Phone's latest version 8.1.

China Mobile and China Unicom announces Nokia Lumia 638 and 636



The Chinese state owned telecommunications and network provider, China Mobile Communications has announced Nokia Lumia 638 and China Unicom has officially sanctioned Lumia 636 4G (what you see above), smartphones in the country. The new handsets from the carriers will be based on Nokia's previously announced Lumia 630 Windows Phone handset.

 China Mobile's new smartphone, Nokia Lumia 638 is said to be their first TD-LTE (Chinese version) 4G capable phone from Nokia Lumia Windows Phone fleet. The company took the stage at Mobile Asia Expo (GSMA), held in Shanghai, China, today to showcase their new handset for the public consumers. The new Lumia 638 from China Mobile will be available from the 21st of this month, from their retail outlets. Where else, China Unicom customers will have to wait until 5th of next month to buy a Nokia Lumia 636 4G, both priced at 1299 Chinese Yuan, that is around 209 United States Dollars when roughly converted.

 The new phones from the Finland based manufacturer will remain identical from physical hardware and design, being constructed out of Nokia's traditional polycarbonate build with double-polish finish. The units will be available in a wide variety of color options, from Matte Black, White, Orange and "Xuanliang Xuanliang" Yellow (we assume this to be the glossy one).

Microsoft's next flagship to feature 3D Touch technology, claims report



Microsoft's upcoming front runner smartphone is reportedly codenamed as McLaren, which is tipped to make it's debut in the United States, on different carriers, later this year. The new Windows Phone from the Redmond company, that acquired the Finnish based manufacturer, Nokia, will come with new features like Kinect inspired sensors, that is internally known as 3D Touch or Real Motion (Nokia developed?), according to the source reports.

 The new function on the phone will let it's users hover their fingers over the device's display panel to work around with different applications and even play games. The Verge also reports the upcoming handset's back design will be somewhat similar to the Nokia made Windows Phone, Lumia 1020, with the slightly humped casing for the primary shooter and LED flash.

 The purported impending Microsoft phone or codenamed McLaren will come fitted with a number of hardware sensors to make their new 3D Touch technology work well. According to the reads, users of the smartphone will be able to answer a phone call by raising the phone towards their ears and to enable the speaker, all you need to do is just place the handset on a table during an active call, users can also end the call by placing their smartphones in pocket. And with these new sensors on board, you can silent your smartphone by just covering it with your hands or when held to chest and just wave your hands over the screen to dismiss alerts and other notifications.

 Once the phone is official, it will also have the abilities to detect how the user is holding the 3D Touch enabled smartphone, that is said to improve the screen orientation while using it in bed for instance. The looming phone from Microsoft is said to skip the physical button on the sides of the device, where you will be able to wake the phone up by just holing it within your hands.  Unfortunately, we don't have any other information regarding the handset Microsoft is preparing in their pipelines. But if everything aforementioned goes up for an official announcement, this can be a tough competitor for other upcoming 3D technology enabled smartphones.

LG's Uni8 leaks, their new Windows Phone



LG is reportedly making a come back to the Windows Phone platform, as we today have clear evidence of what's cooking aside their impending LG flagship smartphone, G3 which is all set to debut this 27th and 28th of May, in six major cities around the globe.

 So, lets come back to what we see above, where the Press render comes in from the trusted source of evleaks from Twitter. It's not just Nokia, Samsung or HTC who shines in the Windows Phone department, where else the South Korean consumer electronics manufacturer, LG is too planing to come back in the game with their upcoming WP handset, named as the Uni8, which seems to run Windows Phone version 8.1 on board from the above screen.

 We don't find the above handset to be a smartphone as the large screen size suggests us to see LG announce a phablet soon, powered with Microsoft's platform. The device looks to sport overall sleek design with relatively thin bezels and on-screen navigation buttons. For now, there isn't much of details disclosed at the moment from the tipster or LG, we will have to wait for more news to come, eventually. Anyways it will be really interesting to see LG making their rebound to the Windows Phone industry, better late than never.

Nokia Lumia 520 saves the life of an Off-Duty Police Officer



It's your smartphone becoming life savers for your country's real life heroes, as the Finnish manufactured Nokia Lumia 520 saves the life of a Military Policeman, who was off-duty, this past Thursday, when he returned to his home back, where his family members were taken hostage by two criminals.

 According to the reports from the sources and São Paulo, Military Police, all this scene started around 13h, on 1st of May, Thursday, when the victim's Mother, Father and a relative was taken under hostage at his own home at Alexandrina Street Vieira Monteiro, Residential Garden in White Water. The lady was taken into the house, where his Father and the relative was made hostage for about 30 minutes, by one of the criminal, with the other guy waiting on the bike outside.

 It was then, the son of the couple and the 24 years old victim arrived at the scene, with his uniform in hands, asking his Mother to wash it. As the suspect made a note of the uniform in his hands and realizing him to be a countryside cop, fired two gun shots to the target. Fortunately, one of the shot hit the gate of a neighbor's house, with only one bullet ended hitting the target's back pocket of his pants, but not injuring or hurting him a bit, as the Nokia Lumia 520 left in his very same pocket deflected the bullet away.

 Unfortunately, the robbers escaped with the phones, watches, jewelry and the left over money towards the Garden of Hydrangeas. But here, we really appreciate the build of Nokia, which seriously saved a man's life, which could have turned out to be a worst day for his family. Nokia's Lumia 630 availability and pricing details unveiled



The Finnish manufacturer, Nokia will launch their new Windows smartphone named Lumia 630 in the European markets for US Dollars 205.53. The Lumia 630 runs the latest version of Window's 8.1 on the board. 



The Nokia Lumia 630 will come out of the box with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset clocked at 1.2GHz processor with Adreno 305 Graphical Processing Unit, 4.5-inches screen with the resolution of 480 x 854 display marked at 218ppi, eight gigs of internal memory (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card slot), 512MB of Random Access Memory, 5 megapixels of primary camera capable of recording 720p videos at 30fps and 1,830mAh powered battery. It supports Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, FM-Radio and it's dimensions are 129.5 x 66.7 x 9.2 mm and weighs 134 grams. It is available in Black, White, Orange, Green and Yellow color options.

Samsung ATIV SE is now official from Verizon Wireless



Remember Samsung Huron for Verizon Wireless, that leaked? The new Microsoft powered phone is now official from the South Korean electronics manufacturer, Samsung and United States's mobile network carrier Verizon Wireless. The operator will see the phone for 199.99 United States Dollars, on a two year contract, as well as at $25.22 per month on Verizon Edge plan. You can also pre-order the newly announced Windows Phone 8 running smartphone for 599.99 USD off-contract unlocked. The 'Big Red' Verizon is also offering another ATIV SE, Galaxy S5 or the HTC One (M8) totally free if your willing to join their two year $199.99 contract.

 So, the new phone will come out of the box with a Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.23GHz, five-inches Full High Definition AMOLED screen of 1080p resolution display in protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3, 16 gigabytes of internal mass storage (expandable via microSD card slot), two gigs of Random Access Memory, 13 megapixels main camera on the back with 1080p camcorder, a two megapixels Full High Definition front facer, 4G LTE support, 2,600mAh powered battery and runs Windows Phone 8 (can be updated to Windows Phone 8.1) over the hood.

Nokia announces the Lumia 930



The Finnish communications and information technology multinational corporation, Nokia has launched a new Windows based smartphone named Lumia 930. The flagship smartphone runs the Windows version 8.1 Operating System. Well it is said to be the international variant of the Verizon exclusive Nokia Lumia Icon.


The Nokia Lumia 930 will come out the box with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset clocked at 2.2GHz processor, five-inches full HD screen with the resolution 1920 x 1080 display marked at 441ppi, 32 gigabytes of mass internal memory, two gigs of Random Access Memory, 20 megapixels of Pure View  back camera with Carl Zeiss optics, capable of recording 1080p videos at 30 fps, f/2.4 aperture, Optical Image Stabilization, BSI , auto-focus, face detection, digital zoom, dual-LED flash and a front-facing camera.


The device powers 2,420mAh battery and offers Qi wireless charging capability and runs Windows version 8.1. For connectivity option supports WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, Near Field Communication (NFC), USB 2.0, FM-Radio and supports nano SIM. The handset dimensions are 137 x 71 x 9.8 mm and weighs 167 grams.The Lumia 930 will be available from the June 2014 starting with European, Asian, Middle East and Indian markets. Nokia unveils Lumia 630, Lumia 630 Dual SIM and LTE capable Lumia 635



Nokia announces three new colorful handsets featuring the newly announced Windows Phone 8.1, at an affordable price point. The new Microsoft powered Nokia smartphones will be named Lumia 630 (leaked previously), Lumia 630 Dual SIM and Lumia 635 (from the above picture). The new phones from the Finnish manufacturer will remain identical from it's full factory design and internal specification, unlike the Lumia 630 Dual SIM will bring dual-SIM functionality to the Windows Phone platform for the first time and Lumia 635 will attribute 4G LTE network support. The new 'Lumias' will come out of the box in vibrant colors, where the back shells are changeable in two flavors, with a matte taste and in a glossy treatment.
The main internal specifications of the phones include a Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor speeding at 1.2GHz, a 4.5-inches ClearBlack LCD screen of FWVGA resolution display in protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3, eight gigabytes of internal mass storage (expandable via microSD card slot), 512 megabytes of Random Access Memory (RAM), five megapixels main camera on the back, Bluetooth 4.0 and HSPA+ connectivity on board, while the Lumia 635 will compensate fourth generation LTE radios, powering on with a 1,850mAh powered battery and running Microsoft's latest version Windows Phone 8.1 over the hood. The devices will be up for sales in Bright Orange, Bright Green, Bright Yellow, and White and Black color options.

 As far as it's availability is concerned, the single SIM option Lumia 630 will be available for sales from beginning in May, around Asia, Russia, China, India and Europe at a price of 159 United States Dollars and the Lumia 635 Dual SIM model will cost you 169 USD. The Lumia 635 will be available globally, including the Stateside by July with a price tag of $189.

Microsoft debuts Windows Phone 8.1



The Redmond company has announced their latest version of mobile operating system, the Windows Phone 8.1. The new platform from Microsoft will come along to the new and existing smartphones running Windows Phone 8 with the newly added and improved features.

 First up is the company's new virtual voice assistant, Cortana. Like Google's Now and Apple's Siri, now Microsoft too assist's it's users of Windows Phone 8.1 with Bing-powered Cortana. The new application packs in advanced voice recognition, allowing it's users to speak virtually to call anybody, send a text message, set reminders or calender events, alarms, also search on places, weather and even sports, etc. You can access Cortana by tapping the the search button on your phone. It is also said that the app will feed in your custom notification area with user's personal information and usage data. Cortana will be first available in the United States, followed by United Kingdom, China and other countries joining in the coming months. 

 Next is the new Action Center with quick settings toggles, and screening other application notifications on Windows Phone 8.1, something we have been already seen from an Android and iOS based smartphones, which will let the Windows Phone users on and off their WiFi connection, Bluetooth, Airplane mode, mobile data connection, location services, screen rotation and even adjusting the screen brightness.

 Other new features include updated lockscreen and custom live tile background, where this new trait will allows user to change the look of their lockscreen and customize it with any third party themes available. The newly announced option also allows you to set a custom background for the start screen live tiles.

 Fourth we have the next generation Internet Explorer 11 mobile browser, attributing WebGL support and YouTube's HTML5 video player, allowing you to upload files to webpages directly using IE 11. The company has also updated their browser with a dedicated Reading mode, InPrivate mode and Password manager, helping users sync saved passwords across multiple devices.

 Fifth, Enterprise and Security, bringing you support to custom VPN, allowing users to surf the web more securely on custom Virtual Private Network. The new update also includes access to S/MIME, which means users of the new Windows Phone 8.1 can sign and encrypt their email address, rapidly.

 Lastly other major updates on the firm's latest mobile operating system includes, Sense Apps, On-screen keys, Quiet hours and Wordflow Keyboard.

 The new update of Windows Phone 8.1 will be released officially in the coming months, but unfortunately we still lack the exact dates and information on which all Windows Phone 8 running devices will receive the over-the-air update.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom and Mini along with Nokia 1820 coming soon, says case manufacturer



According to the sources reported, the French designer smartphone case manufacturer, Noreve has confirmed that they will be making premium leather collection cases for three new unannounced mobile phones. Out of this three, two will be the South Korean Samsung branded and the last one to be for the Finnish based Nokia.

 As far as we understand, the new purported Samsung smartphone are from the Galaxy S fleet, the next generation Galaxy S5 Zoom and S5 Mini, alongside Nokia's yet to go official Windows Phone 1820.

 We have already brought the new Samsung made Galaxy S5 Zoom in your notice, where our Editor, Mustafa hinted the upcoming phone-camera to pack in a company made Exynos 5 Hexa-Core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, a Mali-T624 Graphics Processing Unit (GPU), 4.8-inches Super AMOLED screen of 720p display, 16 gigabytes of Read Only Memory (ROM), two gigabytes of Random Access Memory (RAM), 19 megapixels main camera on the back capable of capturing 1080p videos with a two megapixels front facer and running Android's latest version 4.4.2 KitKat over Samsung's own TouchWiz User Interface.

 Unfortunately we lack the information of Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini, but the people from Nokia will be holing a Press event on the 2nd of April, next month where we expect the Lumia 1820 to make it's debut. The Nokia Lumia 1080 is most probably a phablet featuring Qualcomm's Snapdragon 805 processor with a 5.2-inches screen of Quad High Definition resolution display.

Verizon Samsung Huron or ATIV SE shows in a new Press render



It's another article, again with the tags of leaks and Verizon Wireless. The phone you see above is likely to be the South Korean's upcoming Windows Phone for United State's carrier, Verizon, previously codenamed Huron internally.

 This time too, courtesy of evleaks from Twitter, the upcoming device from Samsung gets a clean face lift in a Press render, wearing the exclusive Verizon's branding over the handset's chassis. As far it's design is concerned, the smartphone has got a physical home button of Samsung's kind with back and search button of either sides, giving you the traditional brushed metal finish on the back battery door. At the moment, the internal specifications, availability or the pricing of the device is disclosed, but going with a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, five-inches screen of 1080p resolution display, two gigabytes of Random Access Memory (RAM), a 13 megapixels primary lens and running Windows Phone 8.1 OS will be a safe bet.

Nokia's yet to come Lumia 630 leaks



Nokia's unannounced smartphone from their list of yet to go official Lumia Windows Phones series has got another piece of leak added to the puzzle. This time again too, pouring in from evleaks from Twitter, we have the Lumia 630 or codenamed Moneypenny pictured in official looking Press render, suggesting the new phone in different colored shades.

 Although there is no other reports or detailed specifications from this specific handset flying around the air at the moment, we seriously suspect the smartphone to run the new Windows Phone 8.1 operating system out of the box. Unlike it's design that slightly falls in line with the Nokia's lately announced X fleet smartphones, there don't seems to be hopes for a dedicated camera button and a LED flash light, behind the phone, for this bad boy.
