Huawei's expensive Android powered phablet, Ascend Mate 2 debuts at the Consumer Electronics Show, yesterday at Las Vegas.
Their new high-priced handset will come out f the box with a Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon Central Processing Unit (CPU) with four dedicated cores clocked at 1.6GHz, a 6.1-inches screen marked at 720p resolution display, 16 gigabytes of on board memory (expandable via microSD card slot), two gigabytes of Random Access Memory (RAM), on the back a 13 megapixels primary camera packing Sony lens with 2.0 aperture rate and LED flash light, on front we have a five megapixels shooter, both capable of capturing 1080p videos. The new Mate 2 have 4G LTE connectivity support for better speeds, a 4,050mAh powered battery and running Android version 4.3 Jelly Bean with the company's own Emotion 2.0 User Interface on top. The new device measures 9.5 millimeters in thickness and weighs 202 grams.
Huawei promises to make it's new large unit available in China first followed by other countries by the end of the first quarter of this year. But, unfortunately we still have no clear details on the phablet's pricing amounts, just yet.
