The best way to prevent the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic illness is by avoiding your exposure to the virus. Clean your hands often, use soap and water for at least 20 seconds or a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol to clean your hands more frequently.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands or after being in the public.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Maintain a safe distance between yourself and other people if COVID-19 is spreading in your community.
Stay home if you’re sick and take help from local health authorities and medical professionals.
Make sure to cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or use the inside of your elbow when you cough or sneeze. Properly dispose the used tissues in the trash, and immediately clean your hands with soap and water or a hand sanitizer.
Wear a face mask if you are sick or if you are around other people (e.g., sharing a room or vehicle) and before you enter a healthcare provider’s office. Do not wear a face mask unless you are caring for someone who is sick.

OnePlus 8 series launch event is scheduled on April 14


OnePlus has officially announced the date for launching their all new OnePlus 8 series, bringing "Lead with Speed." The event has been scheduled for April 14 and will go live from 11:00 AM (EDT)/4:00 PM (BST)/8:30 PM (IST). Considering the current situation of novel Coronavirus outbreak across the world and it's continuing widespread, this is going to be a virtual press conference and the event will be live streamed on OnePlus's official YouTube channel and on OnePlus's official website. Like reported in the past, the manufacturer again hints a full 5G lineup for their forthcoming OnePlus 8 series, that is expected to include the vanilla OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Lite and OnePlus 8 Pro, which is now also confirmed to arrive with the 120Hz Fluid Display panel.

Xiaomi announces Mi 10 Lite 5G globally


Xiaomi announces their latest affordable Mi 10 Lite 5G Android-powered smartphone, promising 5G connectivity for everyone. The new Lite version of Mi 10 5G will be their latest addition to the Mi 10 series of devices including the vanilla Mi 10 5G and Mi 10 Pro 5G, that was first introduced in mainland China then followed by their global launch in Europe. The phone will be available in shades of Blue, Grey and White colors and will be sold in the Europe starting this May and will only cost around 386.80 USD for the base option. The phone features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset on board with integrated X52 modem for dual-mode SA/NSA capable 5G connectivity and packs a Kryo 475 chip processor. The device will also tot LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.1 internal storage, alongside a 6.57" AMOLED TrueColor water drop style notch display, housing the 16MP front facing secondary snapper. Around the back, we see a 48MP quad camera module and a 4160mAh powered battery, that can fast charge upto 20W and even supports QC3.5 and FFC.

Samsung Galaxy M11 goes official from United Arab Emirates

Samsung finally took the wraps off their latest entry-level smartphone featuring a punch hole display and triple camera module in the United Arab Emirates, officially listing the all new Galaxy M11 on their website for the country. The phone had already made it's appearance in the past, showing off it's design in renders and revealing most of it's internal hardware specifications, and now we have the handset out in the Middle East, which came in as a surprise because Samsung followed a trend of launching these models to the Indian subcontinent first. So the phone will come out of the box with a 1.8GHz Octa-Core processor, 6.4" Infinity-O PLS TFT LCD HD+ display with a resolution of 720 x 1560 pixels, housing an 8MP front facing secondary camera and will give 3GB and 4GB of RAM options with 32GB and 64GB of expandable internal storage space, respectively. The phone also features a 13MP primary camera on the rear accompanied by 2MP and 5MP lenses on the array for primary photography. Users will also be treated to a fingerprint reader on the back along with facial reorganization for added security and the phone powers on with a 5000mAh powered large battery that supports 15W fast charging, booting to Android's version 10 topped with Samsung's custom UI. Upcoming OnePlus 8 leaks in new color options


The upcoming vanilla model from the next generation OnePlus 8 series appeared in some brand new press renders showing off the smartphone in couple of new exciting shades of colors unlike their previous devices. The affordable flagship smartphone can been seen in the new Interstellar Glow, Glacial Green alongside the previously seen Onyx Black hues here. The launch of the smartphones were reportedly postponed due to the novel Coronavirus outbreak and is now supposedly hinting towards April 15 for an official debut from the Chinese manufacturer. We have attached some high definition renders that glory the new color options available for the smartphone below. The phone is expected to pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Octa-Core SoC with integrated Snapdragon X55 modem for advanced dual-mode SA/NSA capable 5G connectivity, a 6.55" Fluid AMOLED punch hole style curved display panel at FHD+ resolution and 90Hz screen refresh rate, housing the 16MP front facing snapper and a built-in fingerprint scanner under the screen. For memory management, we would see 8GB and 12GB of RAM variants with 128GB and 256GB of on board UFS flash storage options. The OnePlus 8 sports a triple camera module on the rear suggesting a 48MP main sensor with 16MP secondary ultra wide angle lens and a tertiary 2MP depth sensor. The power will be handled by a 4300mAh battery unit that supports fast charging worth 30W and should run Android's latest version 10.

The forthcoming Samsung Galaxy M11 made it's first appearance a few weeks from Google Play Console listing and today we have the entry-level Galaxy M10 successor smartphone make it's second set of rounds courtesy of YTECHB. As heard in the past the phone is shown off in the new Violet/Purple paint job along with shades including Black and Sky Blue hues (availability depends upon region). Richard Yu assures that Huawei can still meet the market needs and demand for the new P40 series following Coronavirus crisis


Richard Yu, the Consumer Business Group (CBG) CEO of Huawei was interviewed by the press media at launch of their all new P40 flagship series of smartphones, where he assured that the Chinese consumer electronics and telecommunications company can still meet the market needs and demand for their latest smartphones. In a reply to Pocket-lint's correspondent Mike Lowe, Yu made it clear that Huawei had started manufacturing the P40 smartphones from Q4 of 2019, and with four months of scheduled manufacturing, the supply for the P40 has been eased, and is ready now. Despite the slowed down manufacturing this month, and considering the fact that China is the epicenter and one of the worse hit countries by novel Coronavirus, they still see it as under control now,  where the manufacturing and supply chains have recovered and feels they can meet the global demand for the newly debuted devices.
"In the Europe, or other countries, the COVID situation is not like China is today. China (from our point of view) has recovered, but outside China, there are many physical stores that are closed. But our products are ready to ship when the stores are ready. Even during the COVID situation, we were still manufacturing - we had some supply chain issues, but everything has recovered and we can guarantee supply, said Richard Yu."

Nationwide lock down forces Xiaomi to postpone the launch of Mi 10 in India


Manu Kumar Jain, the Global Vice President of Xiaomi and Managing Director of Xiaomi India have announced that his company has suspended the launch their latest Mi 10 smartphone in India due to the ongoing Coronavirus lock down in the country. The brand new Mi 10 handset was originally announced in mainland China back in February, and was scheduled to arrive in India on March 31, but following the announcement of a 21 day lock down in India amid Coronavirus widespread, the Chinese manufacturer is now forced to postpone the launch of the device. Furthermore, the new date for unveiling the Mi 10 in India will be announced in the near future as the phone maker is evaluating the current situation. Apple makes new website and app in partnership with CDC and White House for Coronavirus pandemic


Apple have partnered with CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) and the White House-led Coronavirus task force along with the Federal Emergency Management Agency to develop a new website and app that includes a set of resources dedicated for the COVID-19 updates in order to help people stay informed and take all necessary steps to protect their health during the ongoing spread of the deadly Coronavirus. With the new screening tools from the platform, you can answer a series of questions surrounding the risk factors, recent exposure as well as symptoms, where in return you will receive recommendations based on the latest guidelines from CDC about social distancing and self-isolating, how to closely monitor the symptoms, whether or not a test is recommended at this time, and more. The new Apple COVID-19 app is now available for iOS users aged 18 or above and can download from App Store, and for those who are on different operating systems can access their newly launched website.

Realme has suspended all upcoming launches in India amid COVID-19 lock down, including the Narzo series


Realme had originally scheduled the launch of their latest Narzo series of smartphones including the Narzo 10 and Narzo 10A in India on March 26 at 12:30 PM (local time). However the launch of the next in line Realme smartphones and other devices have been suspended or in other words postponed by the manufacturer's CEO Madhav Sheth following the announcement of a 21 day lock down in the country, as the novel Coronavirus continues it's spread across the states in India.

Huawei announces 2020 flagship P40 series


Huawei have announced their latest 2020 flagship P40 series of smartphones succeeding the previous generation P30 series from last year. The latest lineup will introduce their all new Huawei P40 vanilla model, as well as the higher-end Huawei P40 Pro and the P40 Pro+ (initially rumored as the P40 Pro Premium) smartphones, all partnered with the German company, Leica Camera AG, packing IP53 certification on the P40 and IP68 for P40 Pro and P40 Pro+, respectively for water and dust resistance, also bringing dual-mode 5G SA/NSA connectivity on board over dual-SIM and eSIM capabilities.

 The standard P40 will ship with their own Kirin 990 5G chipset and Mali-G76 MC16 GPU under the hood, a 6.1" OLED FHD+ quad-curved pill-shaped punch hole style Overflow Display with a 32MP secondary camera and a dedicated infrared (IR) camera for advanced facial recognition, but lacking a traditional earpiece, making the full display a sound emitting panel. The phone tots 8GB of RAM with 128GB of internal space, a triple camera module on the rear featuring a main 50MP Ultra Vision camera, a 16MP ultra wide angle sensor and an 8MP Telephoto lens with OIS. The P40 will include a 3800mAh powered battery with 22.5W SuperCharge and fast wireless charging with 22.5W SuperCharge car charger, running EMUI 10.1 based on Android OS version 10. Huawei P40 will be made available starting April 7 for a price beginning at 892.36 USD in shades of Silver Frost, Blush Gold, Deep Sea Blue, Ice White and Black colors.

The brand new P40 Pro will come with the same Huawei-made Kirin 990 5G processor coupled with Mali-G76 MC16 GPU, a larger 6.58" 2640 x 1200 resolution OLED quad-curved pill-shaped punch hole style Overflow Display featuring 90Hz screen refresh rate, with a 32MP secondary front  facing snapper and depth camera integrated with IR. The model again traits similar 8GB RAM with 256GB of on board space, a quad camera array on the back showing off the primary 50MP Ultra Vision camera with OIS, a 40MP Cine ultra wide angle sensor, a 12MP SuperSensing Telephoto lens with OIS and a 3D depth sensing camera (ToF). Huawei's P40 Pro will pack an improved 4200mAh powered battery unit with 40W SuperCharge and wireless SuperCharge worth Max 27W. The phone will boot to EMUI version 10.1 based on Android 10 and comes out of the box in the similar shades as the former, hitting the store shelves from April 7 with prices starting around $1115.73.

Finally speaking about the premium and higher-end P40 Pro+, the phone will also attribute the same custom-made Kirin 990 5G SoC with Mali-G76 MC16 GPU, an identical 6.58" 2640 x 1200 resolution OLED quad-curved pill-shaped punch hole style Overflow Display with 90Hz screen refreshing rate, housing the matching sensors from the P40 Pro sibling for handling selfies, video calling and facial unlocking. The internal flash memory for the smartphone is upgraded to 512GB, while the RAM remains the same at 8GB, but bringing changes to the primary camera setup around the rear side. The P40 Pro+ glory a penta camera arrangement with  50MP Ultra Vision main lens with OIS, a 40MP Cine ultra wide angle sensor, an 8MP SuperZoom camera featuring 10x optical zoom and OIS, another 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS, and lastly a 3D depth sensing Time of Flight (TOF) sensor. The variant will also have a 4200mAh powered battery with 40W worth of SuperCharge and wireless SuperCharge technology, making the Huawei P40 Pro+ the world's first smartphone with 40W wireless fast charging capability. OnePlus promises Always-On Display for smartphones, could arrive soon as an OS update


OnePlus is known for always listening to their consumers and their fans, and the most recent example to this is their latest tweet shared on the company's official Twitter handle, promising users the much awaited Always-On Display feature for their devices. According to OnePlus, the OS Product team have heard the idea and have confirmed that the feature is on their roadmap, possibly hinting towards the arrival of this detail to some existing OnePlus smartphones via a software update sometime in the near future as well as on the upcoming OnePlus 8 series.

Samsung's largest factory shuts down in India due to COVID-19


Samsung opened their largest smartphone manufacturing facility in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India back in the summer of 2018, that can produce up to 120 million units per year. But as the novel Coronavirus outbreak continues to spread across the country with several states in India facing a complete lockdown, the government of India has requested Samsung to call-off all their operations at their Noida factory at least until March 25. Starting March 23, Samsung have stopped all it's operations at their facility in India and have asked their employees under the research and development department, as well as from sales and marketing offices across India to work from home.
"Some key critical services, such as customer service, will work with limited staff."

We also learned that LG will shut down their two factories in India following the orders of the government, until the end of this month.

Google cancels this year's I/O Annual Developers Conference over Coronavirus fears


Google have announced that the company will not be holding an I/O Annual Developers Conference event in any capacity this year, even calling-off the possible online conference as well. Earlier this month, we heard from the American technology giant that they have cancelled the in-person I/O Developers Conference due to the concerns over the continuing widespread of novel Coronavirus across United States as well as in most parts around the world. In a recent update provided by Google's official Twitter handle, we learn that the company is calling off all possibilities to hold the event this year considering the safety of their developers, employees and local communities, also in regard to focus their attention on helping people and the communities to stay safe, informed, and connected during this unprecedented time as the deadly COVID-19 is affecting thousands of people globally.
"Out of concern for the health and safety of our developers, employees, and local communities — and in line with “shelter in place” requirements by the local Bay Area government — we sadly will not be holding an I/O event in any capacity this year."

Samsung is closing down all stores in the United States due to COVID-19


President and CEO of Samsung Electronics America, YH Eom, confirmed that all Samsung stores in the United States have been closed temporarily, due the continuing widespread of the deadly virus across the country and most of other parts around the world. Eom haven't disclosed for how long the manufacturer have decided to shut down their stores in the stateside, but would only consider reopening them once the spread of the ongoing Coronavirus is under control and the social distancing instruction have been revoked. Furthermore, customers in the US will still be able to buy their products through Samsung's official online store and the company will continue operations of all their online customer care channels with 24 hours support. Samsung is also assuring that all orders from their online portal will be fulfilled as fast as possible.

Apple also claims their brand new iPad Pro models to be the world’s best devices for augmented reality. To the front you will see a 7MP TrueDepth secondary camera and the storage options include 128GB/256GB/512GB/1TB versions.
