President and CEO of Samsung Electronics America, YH Eom, confirmed that all Samsung stores in the United States have been closed temporarily, due the continuing widespread of the deadly virus across the country and most of other parts around the world. Eom haven't disclosed for how long the manufacturer have decided to shut down their stores in the stateside, but would only consider reopening them once the spread of the ongoing Coronavirus is under control and the social distancing instruction have been revoked. Furthermore, customers in the US will still be able to buy their products through Samsung's official online store and the company will continue operations of all their online customer care channels with 24 hours support. Samsung is also assuring that all orders from their online portal will be fulfilled as fast as possible.
