Manu Kumar Jain, the Global Vice President of Xiaomi and Managing Director of Xiaomi India have announced that his company has suspended the launch their latest Mi 10 smartphone in India due to the ongoing Coronavirus lock down in the country. The brand new Mi 10 handset was originally announced in mainland China back in February, and was scheduled to arrive in India on March 31, but following the announcement of a 21 day lock down in India amid Coronavirus widespread, the Chinese manufacturer is now forced to postpone the launch of the device. Furthermore, the new date for unveiling the Mi 10 in India will be announced in the near future as the phone maker is evaluating the current situation. We have attached the official statement below.
