Protect yourself from Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The best way to prevent the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic illness is by avoiding your exposure to the virus. Clean your hands often, use soap and water for at least 20 seconds or a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol to clean your hands more frequently.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands or after being in the public.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Maintain a safe distance between yourself and other people if COVID-19 is spreading in your community.
Stay home if you’re sick and take help from local health authorities and medical professionals.
Make sure to cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or use the inside of your elbow when you cough or sneeze. Properly dispose the used tissues in the trash, and immediately clean your hands with soap and water or a hand sanitizer.
Wear a face mask if you are sick or if you are around other people (e.g., sharing a room or vehicle) and before you enter a healthcare provider’s office. Do not wear a face mask unless you are caring for someone who is sick.

Vivo launches affordable Y91C 2020 variant in Bangladesh


Vivo has launched their all new Y91C Android-powered phone for the economic-friendly markets of Bangladesh, a refresher and cheaper adaption for their original Y91, that was announced back in November, 2018, retailing in the country for $176.70. The brand new smartphone arrives in the country to the East of India with, "Halo FullView Display & Bigger Battery," offering gradient coloring on it's rear panel with gloss painting process, detailing the blending of black and deep turquoise shades for the Fusion Black color option. Vivo Y91C 2020 is based on Octa-Core processing with a 12nm process technology, achieving clock speeds upto 2.0GHz for faster performance with entry-level internals and reasonable pricing.

The phone has already gone up for grabs through retail outlets across the country, coming in colors of Fusion Black and Ocean Blue, packing 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage space that can be further expanded via a microSD card slot upto 256GB, tagged at Bangladeshi Taka equal to 117.76 USD. The unit measures around 155.11 x 75.09 x 8.28 mm in dimensions and weighs about 163.5 grams, booting to Android 8.1 Oreo with FuntouchOS version 4.5.

The phone will bring MediaTek MT6762R Helio P22 Octa-Core SoC with ARM Cortex-A53 CPU operating at 2.0GHz and a GE8320 GPU running at 650MHz. There is a 6.22" screen featuring High Definition Plus water drop style notch display at a resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels. In terms of camera, we have a single lens placed on the back with a 13 megapixels sensor and f/2.2 aperture, where the front notch houses a 5 megapixels secondary front facing snapper with f/1.8 aperture. The rear main camera supports professional mode, face beauty, slow timelapse, PPT, palm capture and voice controls, while the front sensor only traits options like, face beauty, palm capture and voice control. In terms of connectivity, we are given, Wi-Fi 2.4GHz, Bluetooth version 5.0, microUSB port with OTG and 4G LTE dual-SIM network support. For location services, we will have assistance from GPS, BEIDOU and GLONASS, as well as the sensors on board includes, Accelerometer, Ambient Light, Proximity, and E-Compass along with Virtual Gyroscope. Unfortunately we don't see a fingerprint scanner on the Vivo Y91C, but the phone is powered by a decent 4030mAh battery and will ship with free protective case and an applied screen protective film, straight out of the box.
