Vivo has started off the month with their newest addition to the company's Y series announcing the brand new Vivo Y9s smartphone. The Dongguan based communication technology company has launched their latest creation in China. The new device with an interesting take on the camera arrangement pattern from it's back, also said to feature a 3D curved surface design, comes to us looking very similar to the Vivo S5 that was launched in China last week. So, the all new Vivo Y9s has landed in their home country for a price of $283.50 for the 8GB RAM/128GB model and will be shipped in three color options, Fancy Sky, Knight Black and Nebula Blue. Interested buyers can grab the phone from the company's official online store in China starting December 6, unfortunately we don't hear anything about the handset's international availability.
The smartphone will come packing a 6.38” Full High Definition SuperAMOLED screen with 19:5 aspect ratio, also bringing along the water drop notch housing the 32MP secondary front facing camera and an integrated on screen fingerprint reader. Under hood will find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor with eight cores and from the camera section the new Vivo Y9s users will be treated to a quad camera setup, that features a 48 megapixels worth primary camera, an eight megapixels ultra wide angle lens, 2MP marco lens and another 2MP sensor for depth sensing. Powering all above is a 4500mAh battery that charges through USB Type-C connectivity. Vivo Y9s is powered by Android 10 based Funtouch OS and also comes with Vivo's personal AI assistant.
