Huawei Technology's smartphone sub-brand Honor has finally announced the V30 and V30 Pro in premium metal/glass construction, that was leaked in some high definition real life photographs just moments back it's official announcement in Beijing, China.
The Honor V, View or VERA (differently named depending upon the market) 30 and 30 Pro will be the manufacturer's first ever dual-mode NSA/SA supported 5G smartphones that will make it to the consumer friendly markets of it's home country, then to be followed by other nations later. The handset comes in Sunrise Orange, Galaxy Black, Icelandic Frost and Ocean Blue color options featuring Huawei's flagship Kirin 990 chipset on board. The devices will put out a 6.57" Full High Definition+ LCD display of 2400 x 1080 resolution and also houses the pill-shaped punch hole dual front facing cameras of 32 megapixels main lens and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with AIS Super Night Mode. Under the hood sits a 4200mAh powered battery on the View 30 and a 4100mAh powered battery on the View 30 Pro. The phones will trait 40W worth fast charging and the 27W wireless charging will be exclusive to the View 30 Pro users.
Now coming to the center of attraction, from the back of the newly launched smartphones, the Honor V30 and V30 Pro will welcome you to a triple camera configuration. On the View 30 Pro you will be treated to a 40 megapixels primary lens packing Sony's IMX600 sensor at an aperture of f/1.6, also attributing a laser autofocus sensor with dual-optical image stabilization. There is another 12MP 109 degree super wide angle lens working at f/2.2 aperture, again featuring leaser focus and dual-OIS with macro image shooting capabilities and finally an 8MP telephoto lens with an aperture of f /2.4 and 3x optical zoom. The standard V30 is not much different it's pricier brother and will come with the same primary sensor of 40MP but unlike the 12MP super wide angle lens, it comes with an 8MP camera instead. The brand new phones from Honor will ship in two variants, and you can either bag the 6GB RAM/128GB internal storage option or the 8GB RAM/256GB model running over Magic UI 3.0.1 based on Android OS version 10. The fingerprint sensor is embedded on the side of the device below the volume rockers.
We haven't heard about the global pricing or shipping details about these handsets but the smartphones will be up for pre-orders in China starting from December 5 and sales from December 12. Honor View 30's 6GB/128GB model will cost you about $468.78 and the 8GB/256GB variant will carry a price tag of $525.62 in China. Accordingly, the View 30 Pro will be the more dear model coming in at $554.04 for 6GB/128GB and $596.67 for 8GB/256GB.
