The Chinese based smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi has announced a new version of the company's existing Redmi Note phablet, that got officially sanctioned back in March. The new handset from Xiaomi will be named as Redmi Note 4G and as the named suggests, the new device from the phone maker will come with 4G LTE capabilities right out of the box, as the previous model only had support to country's TD-SCDMA and HSPA networks.
This time instead of the MediaTek Octa-Core models, the newly announced Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G will tot a Quad-Core Qualcomm MSM8928 Snapdragon 400 processor and Cortex-A7 architecture, clocked at 1.6GHz, an Adreno 305 Graphics Processing Unit, 5.5-inches multi-touch capacitive touchscreen with of In-Plane Switching (IPS) panel, which is an active matrix TFT LCD screen technology along with GFF technology, at a display resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, also offering 178 degrees viewing angles, eight gigabytes of flash storage on board (expandable via microSD card slot up to 64GB), two gigabytes of Random Access Memory, 13 megapixels primary shooter with back-illuminated 28 mm lens, featuring wide angle and large aperture of f/2.2 and LED flash light, capable of capturing Full High Definition 1080p videos and a five megapixels front facing secondary snapper.
For connectivity, the Xiaomi made Redmi Note 4G has got support to Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy (LE), dual-band WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/N/ac, WiFi Direct, GPS + GLONASS, USB OTG and also compensating 4G TDD-LTE, 3G TD-SCDMA and 2G GSM countryside networks, a 3,200mAh powered lithium-ion polymer battery and running Android 4.4 KitKat with MIUI version 5.0. The smartphone is measured same at 154 x 78.7 x 9.5 millimeters in dimensions, where the smartphone will arrive in both Black and White color options, the manufacturer also offering the protective sleeves in many more shades. Unfortunately, the phone seems to be only available in China, at least for now for 999 Chinese Yuan, that's only about 162 United States Dollars.
