The Chinese based electronics manufacturer, Oppo has announced their next generation Oppo R1S, a successor to it's lately announced Oppo R1. The previous Friday we heard from the company, of what they have next in their pipeline, hinting us to see a better processor and camera than what carried out of it's predecessor Oppo R1.
Talking about the industrial design of the newly official phone from the Chinese, the firm seems to have maintained their traditional look with the glass finish on either sides of the unit over the metal chassis rim going all four sides of the R1S, making the Oppo smartphone almost a look alike of an Apple made iPhone.
As far as it's internal software and hardware specifications are concerned, we will see the handset rocking a Quad-Core Qualcomm powered Snapdragon 400 processor, speeding at 1.6GHz with Cortex-A7 chipset and Adreno 305 Graphics Processing Unit (GPU), five-inches High Definition IPS tech screen of 1280 x 720 resolution display, marked at 294 pixels-per-inch, 16 gigabytes of internal mass storage, one gigabyte of Random Access Memory (RAM), 13 megapixels main camera on the back with CMOS sensor and LED flash light, a five megapixels secondary front facer, both capable of capturing videos at 1080 pixels. And for connectivity there is Bluetooth 4.0 and faster speeds of 4G TD-LTE network support on board, alongside other major connections, a 2,410mAh powered battery and runs on Android's version 4.3 Jelly Bean with Oppo's own customized ColorOS 1.2 on top.
Oppo R1S will come in both Blue and White color options, measured at 142.7 x 70.4 x 7.1 millimeters and weighs 140 grams on mass. The handset is now up for pre-orders on Oppo's official domain for a price about 399 United States Dollars.
