The Indian based multinational phone maker, Micromax has announced a new Android middle-ranged smartphone for their South Asian markets.
As the name suggests (Power), the new handset's main highlight from it's internal specification will be it's giant battery, powering the phone at 4,000mAh juice. The company boasts about the unit's stand-by time up to 450 hours, giving users 13.5 hours of talk time.The device will ship pre-installed with Hike Messenger, Spuul, Opera Mini, Kingsoft Office Suite and Micromax's own 'M! Live' for unlimited fun on the go.
Other internal framing includes a Quad-Core MediaTek MT6582M chipset clocked at 1.3GHz, five-inches TFT screen of FWVGA, 480 x 854 resolution display, four gigabytes of Read Only Memory (expandable via microSD card slot), 512 megabytes of Random Access Memory, five megapixels primary shooter with LED flash light, capable of capturing 720p video footages, 3G connectivity on HSPA networks, again a 4,000mAh powered battery and Android's version 4.1 Jelly Bean on board.
The new smartphone Canvas Power A96 is currently up for sales in the company's own online retail store, packing in Black color option, priced at 9900 Indian Rupees, about 160 United States Dollars unlocked.
