Bump and Flock being the Google owned applications for both iOS and Android smartphones that makes file and payment sharing easy between platforms. The American search giant Google took possession of Bump back in September, and now plans to shut-down their business of content and money sharing.
Bump's Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) David Lieb, made the news clear on his blog that the applications will be pulled officially from Apple App Store and Google Play Store respectively on January 31st, 2014. It is also said that the users of their app is given time until the end of the month for exporting their personal data like photos, videos and certain files.
"We are now deeply focused on our new projects within Google, and we’ve decided to discontinue Bump and Flock. On January 31, 2014, Bump and Flock will be removed from the App Store and Google Play. After this date, neither app will work, and all user data will be deleted," added Lieb.
