Following it's predecessor the Ascend W1, the Chinese multinational networking and telecommunications equipment and services company, Huawei have recently announced another budget friendly mid-ranger smartphone, the Ascend W2 powered by Microsoft's Windows Phone 8.
The phone will pack a Dual-Core Krait Central Processing Unit (CPU) with a Qualcomm MSM8230 Snapdragon SoC running at 1.4GHz, an Adreno 305 Graphics Processing Unit (GPU), 4.3-inches TFT Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) screen of 480 x 800 WVGA resolution display marked at 217 pixels-per-inch, a "Precision Screen" what calls the company, that can work with gloved hands, eight gigabytes Read Only Memory (ROM), 512 megabytes of Random Access Memory (RAM), five megapixels rear facing camera capable of recording 720p videos, a 1,700mAh powered battery and powers Windows Phone 8 on start. The handset is measured at 134 x 67 x 9.9 millimeters in dimensions and weighs 160 grams with battery on board.
The Huwaei Ascend W2 will be coming in Black, Blue, Red, Yellow colors and is scheduled to be available in Russia and Netherlands by this month.
