South Korean multinational conglomerate corporation LG has announced an entry level smartphone, not something for the Android guys this time around, but instead with the Firefox operating system on board. Yes, we are not kidding, this is indeed a full fledged Firefox OS smartphone from the hands of Life's Good manufacturer.
The new LG Fireweb consists of a Single-Core Qualcomm chipset clocked at 1GHz, four-inches TFT capacitive touchscreen of HVGA 320 x 480 resolution display at a pixel density of 144, four gigabytes of in built storage (expandable via microSD card slot), a five megapixels main shooter with auto-focus and LED flash light, 1,540mAh powered battery and Firefox operating system 1.1 on board. The handset is 113.8 x 66.5 x 9 millimeters in dimensions and 122.5 grams in weight.
This new LG Firefox creation is available from Brazil's largest telecommunications company, Vivo aka Telefonica Brasil at an affordable price of $59 on contract and $207 off contract.
