The Taiwanese gadget manufacturer, Acer has officially announced a new smartphone to their Android line-up of smartphones. As the International Franchise Association is not so far, we'll be seeing the device unveiled by Acer there in Berlin, Germany.
The Acer Liquid S2 comes out of the box with the new Snapdragon 800 Chipset with a Quad-Core 2.2GHz processor, a six-inch Full HD IPS LCD display with 368 pixels per inch, 16 gigabytes of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD), 2 gigs of RAM.
The phones comes with a noticeable 13 megapixels primary camera with 22 millimeter wide-angle lens and back-side illuminated sensor, capable of recording 4K Ultra HD video with a high-frame-rate of Full HD (60 fps) and slow motion, panorama mode that can take up to 27 megapixels shots and a two megapixels front-facer with 1080p video recording, 3,300mAh powered battery and Android 4.2 Jelly Beans out of the box. There is also 4G LTE connectivity on board as well.
The Liquid S2 will be available across Europe by the end of this October, but there is no reports on the pricing of the device yet.
