Apple announces it's 2013 flagship, the iPhone 5S



Okay, we know your anticipations, Apple fans, so here you go, as the American multinational corporation, Apple announces it's 2013 flagship, the iPhone 5S at the Apple's Press Event in Apple's Campus, Cupertino.

As we seen a number of leaks and rumors on this two new Apple smartphones, and we know pretty well what to expect from the makers of iPhone 5S.

And now for the specifications, the Apple iPhone 5S will be the world's first 64-bit smartphone running the company's latest A7 processor, which is said to be 2x faster in the GPU and CPU computations when compared to the previous flagship, the iPhone 5. Based on the 64-bit creation, this iPhone 5S is re-engineered to be 40x faster from the original iPhone, also with the graphcs being updated to 53x faster. The A7 chipset now supports OpenGL ES 3.0, which now take up higher-quality graphics and real time computations of effects. The A7 processor is now joined by a M7 motion co-processor, for better measurements on motion data, like the accelerometer, gyroscope and compass. This is beneficial in health an fitness applications, which can monitor your physical activity more accurately.

The screen is set back to the same four-inches diagonally, comes in 16, 32 and 64 gigabytes of internal storage options. According to the primary camera, it is remained as an eight megapixels with a f/2.2 aperture, a larger image sensor, which helps in lowering image noise in low-light conditions and better tonal dynamic range in high contrast scenes. The phone also come with the previously rumored dual-flash light, which Apple has now named True Tone, which can now capture more accurate color tone. The iPhone 5S's primary camera is also capable of shooting 1080p videos. The front-facer remains the same with 1.2 megapixels and 720p video recording capability.

We have also heard and reported rumors about Apple plans of bringing a fingerprint scanner to it's traditional home button, which is now a reality. The company has dubbed it the Touch ID. The fingerprint sensor is located behind the sapphire crystal lens, where there is also a new metal ring, that'll be able to sense the touch of the owners finger and activate the smartphone, without pressing the home button. The owner can now securely log-in to any respective services and also purchase from the App Store and iTunes without the need of typing in the password, all you need now is a touch.

The smartphone will come out of the box with iOS 7 pre-installed. The American company has also introduced new colors to it's flagship line-up, where the smartphone will now hit the customers in Space Grey, Gold and Silver.

Both the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C will be launching by September 20th, and according the 5S pricing, the 16 gigs variant will be priced at $199, the 32 gigabytes variant at $299 and finally the 64GB option at $399. And as reported previously, the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Germany, France, China, Japan and Singapore will be the first to grab the device.
