India's Ministry of Health, Family Welfare and Department of Telecommunications (DoT) have issued an order to all network and telecommunications carriers in the country to make a 30-second audio information regarding the current unprecedented situation of Coronavirus and play the clip to subscribers as caller/dialer tune to further spread the awareness among people across India. The state-owned networks BSNL and Reliance Jio have fully abide the new direction from the Government, and have reportedly started streaming in the audio message in accordance to COVID-19, starting March 8, Sunday, until further notice. Other companies are expected to follow the implementation soon.
