Weibo is somewhat like the Chinese version of Twitter that is used by most of the Asian-based smartphone makers in the country to make statements, announcements and also to interact with their fans and general public. Lately we saw Vivo coming on the same social media platform with a teaser video for their forthcoming X series handset, the Vivo X30 that maybe planned for a December launch. As followed by the latest trend in the technology, we can expect the manufacturer to bring their latest smartphone with dual-model NSA/SA supported 5G connectivity integrated.
But that's no what Vivo is trying to highlight here, but it's their photography skills on the upcoming X30. Interestingly the smartphone is confirmed to pack a periscope type super telephoto lens on the back alongside the triple camera setup arranged vertically towards to the top left side of the device. You can watch the latest teaser video from Vivo clicking here. Accordingly, the company also shared another poster earlier today clearly showing off the primary camera arrangement on the back side of the smartphone. Here we are looking at an additional square-shaped 13MP lens adjacent to the main sensors above the LED flash that will be the so called telephoto camera on Vivo X30.
The new camera presentation on the X30 is able to achieve 60x super-zoom and 5x optical zoom. The phones are anticipated to ship in two different models, the standard Vivo X30 and the Vivo X30 Pro. The vanilla model is rumored to feature a 6.5" Full High Definition Plus AMOLED display and the Pro model to pack a larger 6.89" FHD+ panel at 90Hz refresh rate and embedded fingerprint reader. The Pro variant may also consist of a 60MP primary lens along with 13MP + 13MP + 12MP camera package, where else the standard model coming in with 64MP + 13MP + 8MP + 2MP lenses, both with 32MP secondary selfie cameras. Internals speculate to include Samsung’s Exynos 980 chipset with 8GB RAM/128GB storage and 12GB RAM/256GB internal memory option on X30 Pro. A 4500mAh powered battery is also on charts.
