ASUS is really showing some love towards their Padfone series of slates and smartphones. The new member arrives to the fleet with mid-range specifications, named ASUS Padfone E.
The device comes shipped with a Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.4GHz, a 4.7-inches High Definition Super IPS screen on the smartphone with the resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, which is in protection of tempered Corning Gorilla Glass with anti-scratch and anti-fingerprint capabilities, microSD card support for further memory expansion, 1 GB of LPDDR2 RAM, a 13 megapixels primary shooter on the phone with LED flash light and a 1.2 megapixels front facer, 3G UMTS connectivity on board with a 1,820mAh powered battery and runs on Android version 4.3 Jelly Bean over the hood.
For the tablet docking station, it packs a 10.1-inches High Definition IPS screen of 1280 x 720 pixels resolution display with the same protection of tempered Corning Gorilla Glass with anti-scratch and anti-fingerprint capabilities, a one megapixels camera on the front and 5,000mAh powered battery capable of charging the docked Padfone deformation mobile.
The Padfone handset measures around 139.6 x 69.7 x 9.8 millimeters in dimensions and weighs 126 grams, where else the tablet is measured at 181.5 x 263.6 x 17.44 millimeters on scale with 525.67 grams on mass. The unit's availability or pricing info is disclosed, as just yet.
