Well nothing really turned out as expected for the Canadian manufacturer, basically there was no buyout as rumored and talked previously, where else the company has a new Executive Chairman and an Interim Chief Executive Officer, John Chen.
58 years old Hong Kong born John Chen was then moved to United States in 1973, who was formerly known as the CEO of Sybase, a company that creates computer database software, is now the head of BlackBerry. Sybase was a company that was too in financial problems as BlackBerry is dealing it today with, but it was John Chen who restated the company back to it's top position.
In a latest interview on phone, the new CEO made it clear that the company will not stop at any cause, rather they will continue building new BlackBerry branded devices in the future. "I know we have enough ingredients to build a long-term sustainable business. I have done this before and seen the same movie before," added Chen. Proving his adventurers, he also quoted, "There is a lot to do. There are a lot of challenges or otherwise I would not be interested." But as sources claims, it is still unclear how long the Canadians will have him with them.
