HTC recently held a Press event in it's homeland, where the company went officially introducing three new members to it's mid-range budget friendly Desire Android line-up, the dual-SIM Desire 700 and Desire 601 with single-SIM based model Desire 501.
The HTC Desire 700 is the Taiwanese new handset falling in line with the company's 2013 flagship One's design with the stereo BoomSound speakers on the front. The device also features Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 chipset running at 1.2GHz, a five-inches qHD screen of 960 x 540 resolution display, eight gigs of internal memory (expandable via microSD card slot), a gigabyte of Random Access Memory (RAM), eight megapixels primary camera with LED flash and 2.1 megapixels secondary camera packing BSI sensors on board capable of capturing 1080p videos, dual-SIM capabilities and HSPA support, with HTC's own BoomSound, BlinkFeed and Zoe, a 2,100mAh powered battery with Android and Sense User Interface as it's operating system. The whole unit is measured at 145.5 x 72 x 10.3 millimeters in dimensions and 149 grams in weight.
Next up is the Desire 601, probably the dual-SIM variant of the previously announced model, now sporting a Quad-Core processor running at 1.2Ghz, a 4.5-inches qHighDefinition screen, four gigabytes of on board storage (expandable via microSD card slot), a gigabyte of RAM, a five megapixels main camera with LED flash light capable of recording 1080p and slow motion videos and a VGA front facer, featuring the same dual-SIM with HSPA support, packing the BoomSound Audio dual front stereo speakers, HTC BlinkFeed and Zoe, powering on a 2,100mAh battery with Android HTC's own Sense UI as OS. The new handset scored it's measures at 134.5 x 66.7 x 9.88 millimeters and weighs about 130 grams in total.
Finally hitting the ground is the new HTC Desire 501, going moderate with a Dual-Core processor clocked at 1.15GHz, 4.3-inches screen WVGA resolution display, eight gigabytes of mass memory (expandable via microSD card slot), 1 gigabyte of Random Access Memory (RAM), eight megapixels primary camera with LED flash light, 2.1 megapixels front facer with BSI sensors, Bluetooth 4.0, HSPDA and Near Field Communication (NFC) connectivity on board, all powered with a 2,100mAh battery and occupies Android with Sense UI as operating system. The Desire 501 is measured at 128.5 x 66.9 x 9.8 millimeters in dimensions and 130 grams in weight.
We still have no details on the newly announced unit's availability worldwide, but the pricing has been listed as follows, the Desire 700 will go for $470 and the Desire 601 for $370, while the single-SIM model Desire 501 will be marketed for $330 off contract.
