Protect yourself from Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The best way to prevent the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic illness is by avoiding your exposure to the virus. Clean your hands often, use soap and water for at least 20 seconds or a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol to clean your hands more frequently.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands or after being in the public.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Maintain a safe distance between yourself and other people if COVID-19 is spreading in your community.
Stay home if you’re sick and take help from local health authorities and medical professionals.
Make sure to cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or use the inside of your elbow when you cough or sneeze. Properly dispose the used tissues in the trash, and immediately clean your hands with soap and water or a hand sanitizer.
Wear a face mask if you are sick or if you are around other people (e.g., sharing a room or vehicle) and before you enter a healthcare provider’s office. Do not wear a face mask unless you are caring for someone who is sick.

Google announces Android Wear for wearables, Developer Preview now available

It was in rumors, and now we have the American search giant going official with their new SDK, named Android Wear, Developers Preview ready for download. With the introduction of Android Wear, Google is extending it's mobile operating system, Android to more platforms, literally speaking, to wearables.

As said from the company's latest blog post, Google will be introducing Android Wear first to the most familiar wearable, the smartwatches. It is also mentioned that a new range of devices are too in plans of Google, that will follow on later.

The new platform is of course from the basics of Android, which has got to do something with what we have already seen from the company's Nexus branded devices. Sundar Pichai, the Senior Vice President of Android, Chrome and Apps made a note of four categories, that lists the new Android Wear.

First up is the, "Useful information when you need it most", meaning of suggesting you the information at the right time, when you need them, With the help of other Android applications, users can receive the latest posts and updates from your favorite social media apps, chats and also delivering notifications from other apps for shopping, news and more.

Secondly, "Straight answers to spoken questions", as we have been used to it, ever since an update hit the Google Now on Android devices. Users will only have to say the hotword, "Okay Google", to get answers for your asked questions and even get things done, like making a phone call or sending text message.

Third, "The ability to better monitor your health and fitness". Android Wear also keep an eye on it's users health and fitness, by giving you reminders and also screening in real-time speed, distance and time information of your run, cycle or walk with your favorite fitness apps on board.

Last, but definitely not the least, "Your key to multiscreen world", where Android Wear platform will let you access and control other connected devices, For example, with Google Now, saying "Okay Google" and commencing a music playlist search, as well as casting your videos from smartphone right on to the television.

And before we wrap up, Google has made available a Developer Preview for the new Android Wear, allowing developers to download the available preview and get on building their apps, that work with Android Wear powered smartwatches. Google has also promised us to bring new resources and API's in the near future.

It is also read that, the United States based firm is working with consumer electronics manufacturers like ASUS, HTC, LG, Motorola and Samsung, including chip makers like Broadcom, Imagination, Intel, MediaTek and Qualcomm to bring out new smartwatches, running Android Wear, later this year.

Verizon Samsung Huron or ATIV SE shows in a new Press render

It's another article, again with the tags of leaks and Verizon Wireless. The phone you see above is likely to be the South Korean's upcoming Windows Phone for United State's carrier, Verizon, previously codenamed Huron internally.

This time too, courtesy of evleaks from Twitter, the upcoming device from Samsung gets a clean face lift in a Press render, wearing the exclusive Verizon's branding over the handset's chassis. As far it's design is concerned, the smartphone has got a physical home button of Samsung's kind with back and search button of either sides, giving you the traditional brushed metal finish on the back battery door. At the moment, the internal specifications, availability or the pricing of the device is disclosed, but going with a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, five-inches screen of 1080p resolution display, two gigabytes of Random Access Memory (RAM), a 13 megapixels primary lens and running Windows Phone 8.1 OS will be a safe bet.

Nokia X's 1 Million pre-orders in China, were misleading?

Remember us sharing the Finnish manufacturer's amusement on receiving 1 Million pre-orders from China for their first Android powered smartphone, Nokia X, a couple of days back? And folks, unfortunately all that we reported in the past was fallacious.

Well, as new reports come in from WMPoweruser and their sources, the pre-order story was invalid and numbers generated for the phone were from the country's online retailer JD.com, as a part of their instant win contest, where participants went clicking the pre-order button to win the Nokia made X. It was also said, that the process did not actually require any registration or money down from the customers.

The handset announced by Nokia at this year's Mobile World Congress trade show will sell in China for about only 100 United States Dollars, off contract, which proves it to be a really affordable handset for this State of East Asia.

Verizon branded LG Lucid 3 coming soon

LG is reportedly in works of a new smartphone, from the current Lucid series, 3, model named VS876, coming to the Stateside's market and domain with the Verizon Wireless branding inside out. We have a neat leaked Press render of the yet to be official LG unit from a latest tweet of evleaks, Twitter.

We have seen the South Korean company announce their second generation LG Lucid 2 for the same carrier back in last year. But this time around the firm seems to have updated their handset, skipping off the capacitive buttons, adding in a Samsung like physical home button in place, narrowed bezels and more rounded edges to the corners. The upcoming phone looks to be a middle ranged Android powered smartphone from LG, running out of the box with Verizon's 4G LTE speeds. We still lack the detailed listing of the handset.
