Believe it or not! Today the smart people from Japan Display Inc, showed up the world's first 4K resolution display on a 12.1-inches screen sized tablet, at FPD International 2013 Exhibition held in Pacifico, Yokohama, Japan.
This new development of 4K display on a 12.1-inches tablets consists of 2 LCD drivers at 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution marked at 365 pixels-per-inch on a TFT screen. Adding a word 'Full High Definition screen' will be a joke, as this new screen displays dynamic images within the built in resolution range, approximately 4 times larger screen size when compared to a Full HD smartphone.
The 4K tablet display is powered with Low Temperature Poly Silicon Technology (LTPS), which not only helps in screening high quality and high resolution content, but also at a very low power consumption in a thinner module and narrower dead band. The panel is measured at 273.7 x 164.6 x 1.96 millimeters in dimensions.
