Protect yourself from Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The best way to prevent the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic illness is by avoiding your exposure to the virus. Clean your hands often, use soap and water for at least 20 seconds or a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol to clean your hands more frequently.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands or after being in the public.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Maintain a safe distance between yourself and other people if COVID-19 is spreading in your community.
Stay home if you’re sick and take help from local health authorities and medical professionals.
Make sure to cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or use the inside of your elbow when you cough or sneeze. Properly dispose the used tissues in the trash, and immediately clean your hands with soap and water or a hand sanitizer.
Wear a face mask if you are sick or if you are around other people (e.g., sharing a room or vehicle) and before you enter a healthcare provider’s office. Do not wear a face mask unless you are caring for someone who is sick.

Richard Yu assures that Huawei can still meet the market needs and demand for the new P40 series following Coronavirus crisis

Richard Yu, the Consumer Business Group (CBG) CEO of Huawei was interviewed by the press media at launch of their all new P40 flagship series of smartphones, where he assured that the Chinese consumer electronics and telecommunications company can still meet the market needs and demand for their latest smartphones. In a reply to Pocket-lint's correspondent Mike Lowe, Yu made it clear that Huawei had started manufacturing the P40 smartphones from Q4 of 2019, and with four months of scheduled manufacturing, the supply for the P40 has been eased, and is ready now. Despite the slowed down manufacturing this month, and considering the fact that China is the epicenter and one of the worse hit countries by novel Coronavirus, they still see it as under control now,  where the manufacturing and supply chains have recovered and feels they can meet the global demand for the newly debuted devices.

"In the Europe, or other countries, the COVID situation is not like China is today. China (from our point of view) has recovered, but outside China, there are many physical stores that are closed. But our products are ready to ship when the stores are ready. Even during the COVID situation, we were still manufacturing - we had some supply chain issues, but everything has recovered and we can guarantee supply, said Richard Yu."

Huawei P40 Pro's camera gets detailed in a new leak

Alleged Huawei P40 Pro gets caught in the wild, leaks in real life images

Huawei is expected to launch three new flagship smartphones from their upcoming P40 series on March 26, as for the latest rumors suggest. And in the mean time, we have already seen all three of these alleged P30 successor smartphones make it's way to our desks in some high definition and official-looking renders, showing off the vanilla P40 model, the P40 Pro and the recently surfaced premium and unnamed version of P40 Pro, that is likely to be the most pricier and higher-end model from the forthcoming frontrunner lineup of the Chinese telecommunications equipment manufacturing giant.

But what we do have for you today is the same Huawei P40 Pro smartphone sent all it's way from the phone's country of origin, China. Tipsters on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo have managed to grab or maybe take some shots of what is believed to be the next in line P40 Pro handset from Huawei, that was lately seen handheld/used by an unknown person in the rapid transit of the country. The images was first posted by the popular Chinese media account on Weibo's social media network, but was soon deleted. However, credits to the investigative instincts of our source here, they have managed to save these images on the right time and republished them later for us.

There are two images that have traveled all it's way from China, giving us a glance of the purported handset from it's front and back. On the front view, we peek at the display the device that looks to trait the same pill-shaped cutout for front facing camera sensors that has been positioned to the top left corner but by adjusting the settings, making the punch hole disappear in the dark with a black status bar. The phone is wrapped in an annoying case that also hides most of it's design aspects like the "never seen" differently shaped corners, quad curved display and more. Nevertheless at least the two parallel sides of phone looks to be well curved as mentioned in our previous reports. Now moving to the next  and last picture attached below, the phone unfortunately does not show off a lot, thanks to the case obstructing the view there as well. The rear camera module have been hidden under the case covering all the lenses laid out on the smartphone's back side. But what is noticeable is the huge bump on the case that should probably house the rear optics of the handset here.

A third new variant of Huawei P40 spotted in the wild, leaks in new press renders

The highly popular tipster Evan Blass of @evleaks from Twitter have shared new press render earlier today, giving us a possible look at a third iteration from the upcoming Huawei's flagship P40 series of smartphones. Yesterday we showed our readers the color options leak for Huawei's next in line P40 and P40 Pro lineup, also showing off the Pro model allegedly in production from the Chinese manufacturing giant. This report was then followed by another leak from Android Headlines earlier today, displaying the same smartphone in a better and all possible angles. So as we were expecting of the phone maker to launch their latest frontrunners in two alleged variants, reportedly on March 26 from Paris, our reporter instincts have caught a brand new P40 smartphone surface on Twitter, that again falls in line with the design and physical appearance as seen from our previous Huawei P40 transcripts.

So when coming to the new device being featured in the story here, we don't see Evan Blass mention any names for the product yet but considering the looks, it appears to be an higher-end version from the existing Pro model of P40. As we can see from the posted image above, the device precisely accompany the same blueprints of it's P40 Pro sibling, but bringing a larger camera module and changes in it's sensor arrangement. Also as mentioned by the user on Twitter, the phones are expected to pack a premium ceramic finish like the Samsung Galaxy S10+. And when the phone is zoomed up close, we can see a penta camera setup with Leica branding on the rear, unlike the triple and quad camera modules found on the Huawei P40 and P40 Pro, respectively.

The module also traits technical information as, "VARIO-SUMMILUX-H 1:1.8-4.0/18-240 ASPH," and details five lenses in total, positioned in two vertical lines, three optics on left including a periscope type telephoto lens and two other cameras (that consist of a dedicated ToF sensor) to right, above the microphone hole and dual-tone LED flash light. The quad-curved display panel with the punch hole style front facing cameras, hardware button placement, connectivity ports and the side metal frame exhibiting the new designs looks to entirety match the old reports on the Pro variant. We don't know if the believed P40 Pro is going to be named differently with this device from above getting the Pro tagline, or if Huawei is in plans to introduce a new title like what Samsung seems to be doing with their latest Galaxy S20 Ultra. Anyways, let's just wait's for time to speak the truth.

Huawei P40 Pro is here in newly leaked render, suggesting a March 26 launch and other camera details rumored

Our friends at 91mobiles brought us another set of leaked press renders exposing Huawei's upcoming flagship smartphone P40 on this Wednesday, followed by another report revealing the purported color options available for the all new Huawei P40 lineup also showing off the manufacturer's latest P40 Pro in an HD render. Now matching our previous reports, we have Android Headlines once again reporting a new leak, this time for the aforementioned Huawei P40 Pro iteration.

As seen and theorized earlier, the smartphone carry out a similar design as it's vanilla P40 model. But of course there are some noticeable changes in terms of it's build and specs when we take a close look at the smartphone's display, camera and frames here in all possible angles. On the front, much alike the P40 we can spot the pill-shaped dual front facing punch hole style secondary cameras positioned to the top left corner but with a curved edge display. Yes, the device looks to feature a screen panel that shows minimal curves on both parallel sides, named as quad-curved display. Another change we can possibly make out is from the rear camera module, even though they look somewhat the same with the Leica branding imprinted, the standard model is only expected feature a triple lens arrangement, where the Pro variant from the above render tots an additional lens on the side below the dual-tone LED flash light, bringing a total of four or quad camera optics on board for primary photography.

Talking about the build, on the four corners of the P40 Pro's metal frame, we can once again see the previously mentioned "never seen" design being exhibited here. The side frame of he handset wraps around the corners of the display, smartly integrated into the designing of the phone from Huawei, adding style, more rigidity and protection for their devices. The placement of the hardware buttons are also set to the right side of the unit and to the bottom we have the speaker grills, USB Type-C port, microphone hole and SIM card tray just like it's smaller sibling.

Moving to the speculated internal specifications, the phone is anticipated to come with a quad-curved display likely measuring somewhere between 6.5" and 6.7" diagonally, and under the hood we may see Huawei's flagship 990 chipset with 5G capabilities, with highest option of P40 Pro suspected to bring along 12GB of RAM and 512GB of flash storage. In terms of it's cameras we have been hearing a lot lately, and if these rumors are to be believed, we may see a 52MP (1/1.3") main sensor packing the 4-to-1 Bayer technology to reproduce 16-to-1 pixel-binned images, processing 13MP larger and sharper pictures with 0.96μm sized pixel. There will also be a periscope type telephoto lens (clearly seen above), an ultra wide angle lens (of unknown megapixels) and a 3D ToF (Time of Flight) sensor. The phone must boot to Android operating system's version 10 with Hauwei's EMUI 10 on top, but skipping all Google services. Android Headlines even points towards March 26 (going with the words of Richard Yu), for an official launch from Paris of the brand new Huawei P40 series of smartphones, said arrive in Black, Blush Gold, Silver Frost, Deep Sea Blue, and Ice White colors as described in the past.

Huawei's P40 is here in new leaked press render and rumored specs, also revealing other details of it's Pro adaption

We first got a glance of the upcoming and all new generation Huawei P40 and P40 Pro back in December, courtesy of very popular Twitter-based tipster Steve H.McFly in collaboration of @91Mobiles in some high definition CAD-based images, that showed off the forthcoming smartphones from the Chinese multinational technology company in more of a silhouettes sort of renders. Apparently we already confirmed from our French sources that the phone maker will be officially taking the wraps of their P30 and P30 Pro successor models in Paris towards the end of March, this year as mentioned by Richard Yu, Huawei's Head of Consumer Sector, in a interview last month, answering the French media questions in Shenzhen, China. According to Yu, the all new P40 will supersede it's predecessors and will be launched with a "never seen" design, as well as incorporating improvements from AI, camera department and other upgrades in overall performance. Following this we already saw the from our past report, the Pro iteration of the Huawei P40 will supposedly trait a brand new design that looks to wrap around and cover the phone's screen on all four corners.

However that is not the case here with the vanilla P40 variant, as the device from the above formal looking press renders matches with the earlier CAD-based renders, coming with a flatter display panel unlike the P40 Pro, that allegedly features curved display on all four sides, stated as "Quad-curved overflow" display by the notorious Huawei leakster from Twitter, Teme (特米)The screen even glory a pill-shaped punch hole style front facing secondary cameras on the top left corner. Apart from that, the flagship smartphone boasts the same rectangular camera module on the back, now giving us a clear peek at the three lenses engineered with Leica, as seen on existing models from the phone maker announced in the past. The sensors are arranged vertically from top to bottom with a dual-tone LED flash alongside. Now moving to the sides, the bottom of the unit is seen housing the speaker grills, USB Type-C port, microphone hole and the SIM card tray, where to the left, we see a the placement of the device's hardware buttons for volume controls and power.

So lastly, when speculating our readers with some rumored internals for the next frontrunner handset from Huawei, we will likely see a display measuring somewhere around 6.1" or 6.2" on the standard P40, possibly powered by Samsung's Exynos 990 SoC that supports 5G connectivity. For photography, there should be an ultra wide angle lens accompanied by a ToF sensor and a main lens of unknown megapixels. The pricier Huawei P40 Pro is currently circulating on the web to include a penta or quad camera module on the rear that is expected to pack Sony's 64MP primary IMX686 sensor, a 20MP ultra angle wide lens, a 12MP periscope type telephoto lens that is capable of 10x optical zoom, another a macro lens, and finally a ToF sensor. Under the hood we assume to see the flagship Exynos chipset, with both phones booting Android's version 10 based EMUI 10, skipping any kind of Google services due to the ban imposed on Huawei from US Government.

Huawei P40 and P40 pro leaks in new renders

We have already told you about the upcoming P40 from Huawei, that is all set to come out in the end of March 2020 in Paris, as confirmed by the French media yesterday, in an interview with the company's Head of Consumer Sector, Richard Yu, who also told us that the new flagship from the Chinese multinational smartphone maker will launch with a "never seen" design, overall performance improvements as well as the presence of Android's operating system version 10.

Now courtesy of the popular tipster Steve H.McFly from twitter, better known as @OneLeaks in collaboration with @91Mobiles, we get to see the upcoming smartphones in some high definition CAD-based renders. We already saw a promotional poster leak for the Huawei P40 last week, showing off only the side, featuring a slim design and the camera module that slightly protrudes, alongside the branding of Leica, as seen from the previous generation Huawei devices. Now with these new renders we can also see that the manufacturer is reportedly working on a Pro version of the purported handset as well, that will join the vanilla P40 model as the P40 Pro.

The major difference between these phones in terms of the design is said to be the display and from the camera department. The P40 (as you can see from the above alleged render) is carrying a flat screen as seen on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite that was leaked recently, while the P40 Pro (seen from the render attached below) looks to embrace a curved display on all four edges like the ones we have seen from Samsung flagships over the years. The metal frame on the forthcoming Huawei P40 and P40 Pro looks to carry the aforementioned "never seen" design from Richard Yu's words, that seems to wrap around and cover the screen's all four corners (like seen on the third second picture uploaded below). This could possibly mean better protection for the devices from accidental drops or anything that Huawei will likely address at it's official launch.

Apart from that, the phones looks to convey a metal/glass construction like most of the frontrunners and also attributes a USB Type-C port on the bottom center along with SIM tray and microphone hole to it's left and the speaker grills to the right. Like seen from the previously leaked poster, the volume up and down rockers and the power button have been positioned to the right side of the unit. Unfortunately we can't spot any 3.5mm headphone jack or the secondary front facing cameras on the smartphones here, but we doubt about a punch hole style setup or an under-display/screen selfie camera like the ones Oppo gloried recently. When we come to the back we see a similar rectangular module from Samsung's recent Galaxy A71 and A51 smartphones. The rumors suggest the P40 Pro to bring a penta lens arrangement for primary photography and the vanilla P40 to house a quad camera array.

Now finally for some details on the smartphone's speculated internals, we are expecting to see the Huawei P40 come with a 6.1" or 6.2" display and the Pro variant to pack a larger screen around 6.5" or 6.7", both toting an OLED Quad High Definition Plus panel at 120Hz refresh rate with integrated fingerprint scanner. Huawei P40 Pro is also tipped to come with company's own Kirin 990 processor that supports 5G connectivity and a 5500mAh powered battery with 50W worth fast charging technology. The phone is also anticipated to ship with a Leica-branded five camera lenses formation, where a 64MP lens with Sony's IMX686 sensor will be in charge with optical image stabilization, a 20MP ultra wide angle lens, another 12MP periscope type telephoto sensor, a macro lens, and lastly a dedicated ToF sensor. Please be clear that these specifications are just based on rumors from the sources.
