Protect yourself from Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The best way to prevent the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic illness is by avoiding your exposure to the virus. Clean your hands often, use soap and water for at least 20 seconds or a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol to clean your hands more frequently.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands or after being in the public.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Maintain a safe distance between yourself and other people if COVID-19 is spreading in your community.
Stay home if you’re sick and take help from local health authorities and medical professionals.
Make sure to cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or use the inside of your elbow when you cough or sneeze. Properly dispose the used tissues in the trash, and immediately clean your hands with soap and water or a hand sanitizer.
Wear a face mask if you are sick or if you are around other people (e.g., sharing a room or vehicle) and before you enter a healthcare provider’s office. Do not wear a face mask unless you are caring for someone who is sick.

Pete Lau confirms Snapdragon 865 SoC and a price tag below $1000 for upcoming OnePlus 8 series smartphones


In a recent interview, Pete Lau the CEO of OnePlus confirmed that the forthcoming OnePlus 8 series smartphones will bring 5G connectivity with a more reasonably priced tags to the United States. As devices with 5G have proven to be more expensive compared to fourth generation LTE, he assures that all models from the upcoming flagship fleet will be cost under $1000 and will feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor on board.

OnePlus 8 series launch event is scheduled on April 14


OnePlus has officially announced the date for launching their all new OnePlus 8 series, bringing "Lead with Speed." The event has been scheduled for April 14 and will go live from 11:00 AM (EDT)/4:00 PM (BST)/8:30 PM (IST). Considering the current situation of novel Coronavirus outbreak across the world and it's continuing widespread, this is going to be a virtual press conference and the event will be live streamed on OnePlus's official YouTube channel and on OnePlus's official website. Like reported in the past, the manufacturer again hints a full 5G lineup for their forthcoming OnePlus 8 series, that is expected to include the vanilla OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Lite and OnePlus 8 Pro, which is now also confirmed to arrive with the 120Hz Fluid Display panel.

OnePlus 8 Pro reportedly caught in hands of Robert Downey Jr.


A new picture has been shared by the popular Twitter-based tipster Slashleaks, claiming it to be a latest leak on the next in line OnePlus 8 Pro smartphone. Here from the black and white picture above, we can see the American actor, producer, and singer Robert Downey Jr. holding the so-called OnePlus 8 Pro smartphone in his left hand, only showing the phone's primary camera module with the dedicated ToF sensor isolated away from the main triple optics. However we are not sure about this take, but the phone itself looks pretty similar to the recently leaked device from China.

OnePlus 8 series gets TENAA certification


Upcoming OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro smartphones were recently spotted on TENAA's certification database with model numbers IN2010 and IN2020, respectively. The latest and next in line devices from OnePlus have been certified to support dual-mode SA/NSA capable 5G connectivity on board by the Chinese regulatory authority. This report falls in line with the words from the company's CEO Pete Lau, who recently confirmed that all models from the OnePlus 8 series will be 5G-enabled. Later he also announced that, OnePlus will invest $30 million for 5G research and development to bring a faster and smoother user experience on 5G platform. So with these new smartphones getting certified by TENAA, we are hinted towards an imminent launch.

Pete Lau confirms all upcoming OnePlus 8 models will be 5G-enabled


In an exclusive interview with c|net, the Chief Executive Officer of OnePlus, Pete Lau confirmed that all upcoming models from OnePlus 8 lineup will support dual-mode SA/NSA capable 5G connectivity. We already know OnePlus is working one three new smartphones, named OnePlus 8 Lite, the recently leaked OnePlus 8 Pro and a vanilla OnePlus 8, that is expected some time in April. According to Lau, this as an opportunity that, the Chinese manufacturer wants to capture, and even hinted towards the possibilities of seeing higher-priced tags for their next generation 5G smartphones, compared to 4G LTE devices, due to the rise in the cost of this new technology.
I want to restate our commitment to 5G and our long term investment. We've been investing in 5G for several years and we see this as the direction going forward and one we're very much committed to, said Pete Lau, CEO of OnePlus.

OnePlus 8 Pro's next live leak reveals the new Purple shade


Just a while back we showed you a newly leaked real life image of the forthcoming OnePlus 8 Pro smartphone, revealing the back of the device for the first time in a semi-transparent retail sleeve, showing off it's design and the camera detailing. The picture had reportedly made it's way from Shenzhen, China, the home land of OnePlus via a Snapchat user who posted a live hands-on photograph divulging the next in line smartphone from the company under the parent organization, BBK Electronics.

 Following this story, here we have yet another screenshot surfacing on the internet, thanks to the popular leakster Slashleaks, we see the handset being featured again in a brand new photograph from the same Snapchat user, this time giving us a clearer and much better look at the handset's rear side, coming painted in a Purple shade with OnePlus 5G branding on the bottom center, along with stickers carrying the phone's IMEI information, that has been covered by the tipster on purpose. The latest hue looks pretty different from the Thunder Purple color option we saw for the OnePlus 6T back in 2018. The back of the handset looks to be covered by a sheet of glass and the camera module again looks to match our recent reports, boasting a quad lens arrangement with a ToF sensor isolated to the left side of the main triple optics lineup arranged vertically above the LED flash light. The phone even looks to bring support to a laser autofocus sensor, that is positioned below the Time of Flight sensor.

OnePlus 8 Pro gets pictured in a new real life image


We have heard pretty much about the upcoming and next generation OnePlus 8 Pro from the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, OnePlus and have already seen the device show up in some leaked renders, as well as some images of leaked screen protectors and later in an alleged live hands-on picture displaying the smartphone's front panel featuring the same punch hole style screen with 120Hz refresh rate. This time around, we bring you a newly surfaced photograph of the phone that has made it's way from an user on Twitter, clearly showing off the forthcoming smartphone in half glory from a Snapchat screenshot revealing the handset's physical appearance, rear design and primary camera module in the flesh for the first time, reportedly captured from Shenzhen, China considering the location tags.

 The OnePlus 8 Pro itself is wrapped in it's retail plastic sleeve, suggesting to have pictured right out of the retail box from the smartphone's country of origin, confirming the chances of the unit to be it's final draft and not a pre-production model. The phone here falls exactly in line with the previously leaked renders, once again giving us a glance of it's vertically aligned triple lens arrangement positioned to the center of the handset with a LED flash on the bottom and a dedicated ToF sensor to the left side of the module alongside an unknown sensor, however we believe it to be in store for laser auto-focusing. Unfortunately, the newly out image doesn't not reveal any other information or details at this moment.
