The Finnish multinational communication and information technology corporation, Nokia is reportedly ending up all their support and relations with the Symbian operating system and Linux based free mobile operating system, MeeGo.
According to reports coming in from a forum, where one of it's user has recently reported of receiving an email from the Nokia Developer Support Team, that claims the Finns are no longer willing to allow Developers publish their new Symbian or MeeGo based applications to the OVI Store by the start of January 1, 2014.
Even though, Developers can no longer publish their Symbian or MeeGo based application to the Nokia's OVI Store, users of Nokia devices will still be able to download the existing apps and the Developers will continue receiving their revenue reports on the published applications. But by the beginning of 2014, Developers will no longer be able to publish any new content or update their existing contents on Symbian or MeeGo.
