We previously heard reports of the South Korean multinational electronics firm, Samsung working on a flexible display variant of their 2013 phablet, the Galaxy Note 3.
Yesterday, at the event of Samsung Galaxy Note 3's launch in Seoul, Korea, the company's Mobile Business Head of Strategic Marketing, D.J. Lee also quoted, "We plan to introduce a smartphone with curved display in South Korea in October."
Curved displays have already been introduced commercially by the branding of the South Korean manufacturer in the forms of large sized television of organic light-emitting diode (OLED) technology. But taking things to a smaller size can seriously be something next to watch out. Accordingly speaking, we still suspect the way in which the South Korean's will publicly introduce their first curved display smartphones, to be exact, either in a flexible and fold-able manner or just as a rigid curved display of touch panel.
