Protect yourself from Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The best way to prevent the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic illness is by avoiding your exposure to the virus. Clean your hands often, use soap and water for at least 20 seconds or a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol to clean your hands more frequently.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands or after being in the public.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Maintain a safe distance between yourself and other people if COVID-19 is spreading in your community.
Stay home if you’re sick and take help from local health authorities and medical professionals.
Make sure to cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or use the inside of your elbow when you cough or sneeze. Properly dispose the used tissues in the trash, and immediately clean your hands with soap and water or a hand sanitizer.
Wear a face mask if you are sick or if you are around other people (e.g., sharing a room or vehicle) and before you enter a healthcare provider’s office. Do not wear a face mask unless you are caring for someone who is sick.

It seems like Google Shamu's prototype is caught on camera

From the past several weeks we have been hearing about Google's next flagship smartphone, the so-called Nexus 6 or Nexus X, also codenamed as Google Shamu, that is allegedly being manufactured by the Lenovo owned telecommunications equipment corporation Motorola Mobility. Couple of days back we even saw how the device is going to look like from the perspective of the folks at 9TO5Google.

To provide addition reliability to the source, now we have an XDA-Developers member up with a real life purported image of a Nexus 6 handset, that's exactly matching the Press render we showed you the past day. The new phone here arrived with the label "Shamu", and sticker wordings reading, "DESIGNED BY MOTOROLA". The device in Black shade is kept aside facing back sided and being compared to an AT&T version of LG made G3 smartphone, where the newly surfaced handset or the proclaimed next generation Nexus smartphone looks pretty larger than the 5.5-inched LG front runner. We are not sure whether this is the final design of the phablet or the device here is an initial prototype. But what can confirm at the point is that, the next bellwether from Google will be a second generation Moto X lookalike, which will also carry out the soft-touch plastic on the back, which is similar to the current LG manufactured Nexus 5, also we see the metal frame construction around the phone as rumored earlier, which is adding more touch of premium feel to the device, as well as making it look like the new Moto X's larger sibling. We can again spot the primary camera lens around the back top side with their fresh depiction of ring LED flash light, with the Motorola branded hardware button positioned below it.

As far as it's reportedly rumored and leaked internals are concerned, the upcoming Nexus X should go official with a Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, speeding at 2.7GHz, an Adreno 420 Graphics Processing Unit, 5.92-inches of Quad High Definition or 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution screen of 498 pixels-per-inch display to be precise, 32 gigabytes of built-in storage option, three gigabytes of Random Access Memory, 13 megapixels primary camera on the back, that can record videos at 4K Ultra High Definition, a two megapixels front facing secondary snapper, 3,200mAh powered battery and running stock Android's latest L built based on 64-bit architecture out of the box.

Is this how Motorola made Nexus 6 or Google Shamu is going to look like?

As we had already written in our previous articles, allegedly Google and Motorola are closely developing and working on a new Nexus smartphone, reportedly named as the new Nexus X or the Nexus 6, that is internally codenamed as the Google Shamu. Yesterday we got to see a brand new Press render of the upcoming Motorola Google partnered smartphone, which is pretty identical to the new generation Moto X smartphone, announced earlier this month, thanks to the folks at 9TO5Google for providing us with a new mocked-up Press image, based on the device itself, along with some details on what's yet to go official from the American multinational companies, Google and Motorola, up next. The purported handset have already made it's rounds in a few leaks in the past, which came all the way from GFXBench, AnTuTu's benchmarking database, and we have also ran down our eyes over it's purportedly surfaced internals specifications. As reported by the source, we don't see any indication of Google's Nexus branding on the phone from the above scaled render, accordingly it's written to be a design, that's still yet to be finalized.

Even though the smartphone we just saw exactly resembles the new Motorola made Moto X, we see some noticeable changes in the design of the handset. First and foremost, we see the the device having it's volume up and down rockers along with the power switch have been moved down towards more center of it's right side, when it's compared to an original Moto X. The re-position of these button are done in order to the easy handling the device with a larger display of 5.92-inch panel, unlike the 2014 Moto X which went official with a 5.2-inches screen size. Other than that, all the other interfaces like the microphone, headphone jack, SIM card slot and the camera with the ring flash LED are all positioned in the very same place as before. It is also read that, the forthcoming Nexus device will be featuring the same aluminum frame construction around the unit chassis alike the new aforementioned Motorola phone, attributing more premiumness.

Now for it's fresh list of internals, as far as we have understood, the impending Nexus X of the Google Shamu will come down the hill with a Quad-Core Qualcomm APQ8084 Snapdragon 805 processor running at 2.7GHz, with an Adreno 420 Graphics Processing Unit, an above mentioned 5.92-inches of Quad High Definition or 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution screen of 498 pixels-per-inches display, 32 gigabytes of built-in storage option, three gigabytes of Random Access Memory, 13 megapixels primary camera on the back, that can shoot 4K Ultra High Definition videos and a two megapixels front facing secondary snapper. There is going to be a 3,200mAh powered battery and runs Android's L release straight out of the box, based on 64-bit architecture, which will be more powerful in it's performance. Lastly, 9TO5Google hints us towards the month of October for an official announcement of the talked about smartphone and the device will be making it's retail appearance by the beginning of November. Anyways, what ever said or seen above is not just yet confirmed, so we recommend you to take this specific news with a pinch of salt.

LG outs the new Android powered Wine Smart flip phone in South Korea

LG Electronics have announced a new refreshment to their outdated Wine series of phones from 2007, official from their homeland of business yesterday, named as the brand new LG Wine Smart. The new handset is surprisingly a flip phone, yet being very interesting in it's hardware, which found a lots of love between the mobile phone users in the previous decades (we are talking a time when Android was a dream for Andy Rubin), and it is also expected to find some interest between more mature users seeking in to the smartphone category, than the young consumers from the market. The device is pretty similar to Samsung's SW2014, unveiled last year.

It is widely believed that, the phone manufacturer is reportedly targeting a number of elderly customers, who are not very familiar using conventional LCD touchscreen from a smartphone, with their latest announcement, in confederation with Google's mobile operating system, Android. The unit also introduces the industry's first, "Kakao Talk", which is the dedicated physical buttons below the 3.5-inches LCD screen. Basically, to select an application from the new smartphone, all you need to do is press on the physical navigation buttons to move the cursor towards the desired app on the phone, or just tap the application from the screen like any other Android powered smartphone from the bazaar.

LG has also implemented their new user-friendly proprietary UX, specially designed for people with less visibility. Indeed, the phone will feature three large horizontal lines on the screen, for the list of applications and widgets, and vertical three lines with the ability to arrange them accordingly. The app icon as well as the fonts on screen will appear larger than usual, which is another impressive fact of the new user interface incorporated. The new Wine Smart will attribute a high power 1W speaker, which sounds loud beeps when a call is received, that is written even to be heard in those obstreperous and noisy surroundings. For more, there's the new "Safe Keeper" key feature, that will send the location information to a pre-set mobile number, if the phone is kept unused for a long time. You can also find an LED light for notifications on the bottom front left side.

In terms of the specifications, the new LG Wine Smart will come out of the box with a 1.2GHz speeding Quad-Core processor, aforementioned 3.5-inches screen of 480 x 320 resolution display, four gigabytes of internal memory storage (expandable via microSD card slot), one gigabyte of Random Access Memory, an eight megapixels main camera on the back along with a VGA secondary front facer, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0 and 4G LTE network connectivity support, a 1,700mAh powered removable battery and runs Android's version 4.4 KitKat, topped with LG's own customized UX. The handset will be made available in South Korea starting from 26th of this month, September, launching in both Black and White color options, measured at 118.6 x 59.4 x 16.9 millimeters in dimensions and weighs about 140.8 grams on mass.

Samsung's upcoming premium Galaxy A5 gets captured in real life

Back with the announcement of Galaxy Alpha smartphone, Samsung had introduced the new standard of extraordinary premium aluminium-clad design, which have already received a lots of love around the globe, and now, Samsung's next luxurious smartphone due for an official announcement is reportedly one among their three new handsets falling in line from their new A fleet of smartphones, which made it's debut with the Samsung Galaxy Alpha, back in August, last month. According to the Samsung-centric website SAMMOBILE, the South Korean multinational consumer electronics manufacturer is preparing three new devices, as reported already, out of which we now have a number of real life photographs leaking of the fresh Samsung Galaxy A5 (as seen from the above image). The smartphone's model name is once again confirmed as SM-A500 by the source, as we have already been hearing about this specific device for a while now, which will be following their steps of the Galaxy Alpha and it's first-rate metal frame construction, though being a middle-ranged device from it's internals.

But unlike the new Samsung Galaxy Alpha and what we heard from the previous article, the looming smartphone is now written to incorporate a new sort of material, that's different from plastic or metal, but a material that "feels cold in the hand," in order to maintain the premium metal feel while keeping the device's fabricating costs down, where it was mentioned to come in a complete metal designed body, previously. As aforementioned, the device is not going to be a flagship killer by any means, which indeed will pull back the forthcoming smartphone to be a decent middle-ranged smartphone, but of course with premier feel in it's exterior hardware. We read the unit to come out of the box with a Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, five-inches High Definition Super AMOLED screen of 1280 x 720 resolution display, 16 gigabytes of on board mass storage, 13 megapixels primary camera on the back with LED flash, a five megapixels front facing secondary shooter, 2,330mAh powered battery and running Android's version 4.4.4 KitKat based on the newest version of proprietary TouchWiz User Interface on top, exactly as featured on the lately official Galaxy Note 4. The device here seems to attribute a non-removable back cover as said before, and now we even sport it's SIM card slot along with microSD card slot (if it supports memory expansion) placed on the frame towards the right side below the power button, which is adding more salt to the news. The Galaxy A5 also looks to hold a newly designed heart rate sensor aside the main camera lens and surprisingly we can't find the unit's speaker grills from any of the attached pictures, courtesy of SAMMOBILE.

From the official front preview, we see the phone's screen holding the company's latest TouchWiz User Interface and a design that's pretty similar to any other new Galaxy branded smartphones out there right now, but of course with a larger display size, protected with Corning Gorilla Glass panel.

In term of the specs, there are some noticeable changes in the internal specifications that popped-up in the earlier leak. Accordingly, as concerned to the authorized listings from the South Koreans, the latest Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 will come out of the box with a Quad-Core processor, clocked at 1.5GHz, six-inches High Definition screen of 1280 x 720 resolution display, 16 gigabytes of internal mass storage option (expandable via microSD card slot), 1.5 gigabytes of Random Access Memory, eight megapixels primary camera on the back with CMOS sensor and LED flash light, capable of capturing Full High Definition 1080p videos and a standard 2.1 megapixels front facing secondary snapper.

Panasonic announced Lumix Smart Camera DMC-CM1

It's the Japanese multinational manufacturer taking on the South Korean consumer electronics giant, Samsung with their latest announcement in the category of 'camera-centric' smartphones, where now we have Panasonic unveiling their newest addition of high-end product named as Lumix Smart Camera DMC-CM1, which made it's debut at yesterday's Photokina 2014 event, the world's largest trade fair for the photographic and imaging industries, in Cologne, Germany.

We reckon, this new device from Panasonic is here to take on it's competitor Samsung Galaxy K Zoom from the market, which packs a large protruding one-inch sensor on the back for outstanding quality on photographs and videos, from a premium compact camera smartphone, basically seeking interest in the photo generic customers. As we all know, the company have been struggling a bit on the leader board with their Eluga branded Android smartphones, which is mainly focused on the consumers in India, but now the things seems to be changing as we see more premier and luxurious products from the manufacturer.

Like any other camera smartphones, the new Panasonic Lumix Smart Camera CM1 will too run over Android operating system, which is the late version 4.4 KitKat. So, first things first, when we look at it's huge one-inch primary lens on the back, the shooter is capable of capturing images at 20 megapixels resolution with an f/2.8 integrated Leica DC Elmarit lens and MOS sensor, that can shoot and record Ultra High Definition 4K pictures and videos at 15 frames-per-second, along with Full High Definition 1080p footages at 30 frames-per-second. The device's manual control exterior lens ring allows you to fully adjust the aperture, ISO and shutter speed, accordingly as required by the scene.

Under the hood you have a Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, speeding at 2.3GHz, a 4.7-inches Full High Definition screen of 1920 x 1080 resolution display, 16 gigabytes of on board mass storage (expandable via microSD card slot up to 128 GB) and two gigabytes of Random Access Memory. From the connectivity side, you get WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Near Field Communication (NFC), 4G LTE Cat.4 network modem support and a 2,600mAh powered battery. The device is pretty thick than any other handsets you can easily find out in the market, measured at 21.1 millimeters in thickness and unit's weight goes slightly hefty at 204 grams.

As far as the Panasonic Lumix Smart Camera DMC-CM1's availability and pricing details are taken to concern, the device will be officially launched in France and Germany starting the month of November, which should go retailing for a price of  €899, now that's as expensive as 1164 United States Dollars. Unfortunately, there's still no words from the phone maker on it's global arrival.

Android One smartphones makes it's official debut in India

Google's Press Conference went all interesting this afternoon in New Delhi, India and as everyone expected, the company made it's official round of debut with their first set of smartphones from their newly announced Android One initiative, that was previously talked by Sundar Pichai, Senior Vice President of Android, Chrome and Apps, Google, at this year's I/O Developers Conference. The new Android One platform will be made available to the consumers in the country for the first time, where today three of their previously announced hardware partners have unveiled new smartphones that runs over the Android One based 4.4.4 KitKat operating system, straight out of the box.

According to the man behind Android, over 1.75 Billion people around the world already have access to smartphones today, where else the remaining vast majority of population, which is well over five Billion in numbers, are not able to afford the highly priced smartphones from the market, which means they are only able to take advantage of voice calls, unlike people from the 1.75 Billion lot, who's rather connecting with their family and friends through live video conversations, social medias, making use of mobile mapping services from phone to find the closest locations and landmarks, even searching and surfing the web. So, in this regard,  the new Android One initiative will help smartphone manufacturers to make high quality devices, which will be accessible to as much as people as possible, basically dreaming the next five Billion people to have an Android smartphone in hands like anyone else.

"Knowledge is a game changer. I've long been inspired by the Internet and how it opens the doors to opportunity. It provides access to knowledge, no matter who you are or where you are. For instance, it doesn't matter if you’re a Nobel Laureate at a world-class research center or a young student at a rural school in Indonesia, with Google Search, you have the same information at your fingertips as anyone else," said Sundar Pichai, Senor Vice President of Android, Chrome and Apps, Google.

As mentioned in their latest blog post, people in countries like, India, Indonesia and Philippines are finding it hard to have a smartphone, due to three reasons mainly, that is hardware, software and lastly connectivity. With the announcement of the new Android One, Google aims working closely with phone manufacturers and chipset makers, by sharing reference designs and also by pre-selecting hardware components, which will help the companies lower the release price for their new smartphones. The first three smartphones launched today with Android One are from the native manufacturers, Micromax, Karbonn and Spice (as leaked yesterday). Accordingly, the new Micromax Canvas A1 will set you back for ₹ 6499, ($107), the Karbonn Sparkle V at ₹ 6399 ($105) and finally, the Spice Dream UNO, being the most affordable one from the team, at only ₹ 6299 ($103), available starting today through countryside e-commerce websites.

As reported in their leaks yesterday, the three new smartphones official from Micromax, Karbonn and Spice will all share the same identical internals, expect the changes in the design construction, which will all put the fresh handsets in the list of middle ranged category, where each of coming out featuring a standard, Quad-Core MediaTek made MT6582 processor with 1.3GHz and four Cortex-A7 Central Processing Units and Mali 400 MP2 Graphics Processing Unit, a 4.5-inches screen of  854 x 480 resolution display with IPS technology, four gigabytes of on board mass storage (expandable via microSD card slot), one gigabyte of Random Access Memory, 5 megapixel primary camera on the back with a 2 megapixel front secondary snapper, dual-SIM 3G connectivity, built-in FM radio support, pre-installed Google applications and a removable 1,700mAh powered battery, running stock Android's version 4.4.4 KitKat. The company also promises us to continuously update the software on the devices directly from Google, for the next two years, consistently. These devices will be in line to receive Android L update first with the existing Nexus fleet, soon.

Indian markets will be followed by the bazaars of Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka, later this year with the Android One treatment and many more countries to follow the line-up soon next year. And as a serious bonus, Google is now offering free software update downloads for the first six months exclusively for the users of Bharti Airtel, in order to reduce the data costs, alongside you will also be able to download up to 200 megabytes per month worth of your favorite applications, about 50 apps from Google Play, all completely free of charge. The new hardware manufacturers joining Google to make Android One smartphones include, Acer, Alcatel, ASUS, HTC, Lenovo, Panasonic from abroad with Intex, Lava and Xolo from India. Chipmaker, Qualcomm from United States have also partnered the Mountain View firm for the new initiative. To learn more about Android One, click here.

The gadget measured around 188.8 x 108.9 x 10.7 millimeters in dimensions and weighs 280 grams on mass.

Innjoo T1

Next up is the "Small Master" Innjoo T1, captioned as "More than a tablet". The device is a hiked up version from the F1 slate, packing in more powerful features and other hardware improvements. The new T1 slate is equipped with a MediaTek manufactured Quad-Core chipset, unlike it's Dual-Core sibling, this guy is set to give impressive user experience with up to two times more on CPU performance and keeps it's users connected to the internet faster than ever before with buttery smooth surfing on the browser.

It's also mentioned to be not just any Android tablet but also a 3G mobile phone, where the in house steady connectivity allows you to enjoy happy hours of talking without any kind of interruption. "Beautiful Design Advanced Technology Integrated", the slate's powerful internals are all packed in a compact size, maintaining the very thin and light construction which is written to be attributing a user-friendly design, and with the special advanced technology integrated on the new T1, helps it protect the device from handheld damages.
