Protect yourself from Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The best way to prevent the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic illness is by avoiding your exposure to the virus. Clean your hands often, use soap and water for at least 20 seconds or a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol to clean your hands more frequently.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands or after being in the public.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Maintain a safe distance between yourself and other people if COVID-19 is spreading in your community.
Stay home if you’re sick and take help from local health authorities and medical professionals.
Make sure to cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or use the inside of your elbow when you cough or sneeze. Properly dispose the used tissues in the trash, and immediately clean your hands with soap and water or a hand sanitizer.
Wear a face mask if you are sick or if you are around other people (e.g., sharing a room or vehicle) and before you enter a healthcare provider’s office. Do not wear a face mask unless you are caring for someone who is sick.

Reportedly Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 passes through FCC

FCC approves yet another South Korean Samsung manufactured tablet, and as a brush up from the previous leaks and rumors, this can be the upcoming Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4.

According to the FCC certification, the new Samsung tablet is dubbed as SM-T320, and the only info coming in from the docs is, it is a Bluetooth and WiFi enabled device. Nothing much else is detailed on the FCC filing, than a diagram with it's dimensions and  a camera on the back along with an LED flash light. But the real deal notches off from India's cargo import database, Zauba, where it is clear to hold an 8.4-inches screen panel.

We hope to see the new Samsung slate in the early 2014, and we will remind the dates of upcoming events like Consumer Electronics Show and Mobile World Congress.

Rumored HTC's 2014 flagship M8 or One Two shows up in 3D prints

Okay we have a new name, for the previously codenamed M8 for the Taiwanese company's 2014 flagship, now reportedly dubbed as One Two. Along with the new, pops in new 3D printouts of the allegedly upcoming model, most probably a refresher of HTC's most popular handset One.

The new resin based 3D print, that is being kept side-by-side with an Apple made iPhone 5C, comes in from design where the creators claims it to be made on details received by an insider source with HTC's plans. Things are yet to get clear here, but accordingly we get to see the two BoomSound technology dual-stereo speakers on the front of the device, which we believe to be a signature look of the Taiwanese corporation's high-end fleet.

On the other end of it's specification to be like, the screen size seems to go up to a complete five-inches from this year's model that hit the stores with 4.7-inches panel. And finally gathering up the latest rumors, the new HTC One Two or so called M8 is to sport a processor from the latest of Qualcomm's list, and if it turns out with a Snapdragon 805 SoC, then we can expect 4K resolution display or will be packing a Full High Definition screen of 1080 x 1920 pixels marking, internal mass memory staring at 16 gigabytes and so-on, 2 gigs of Random Access Memory (RAM), the bigger hole for the flash light looks to carry out dual-LED and Xenon flash system, the camera is believed to be remained at four megapixels, the traditional 'Ultrapixels' fashioned one from the company and a 2.1 megapixels front facer. As far as operating system is concerned, we expect to see Android version 4.4 KitKat out of the box.

With all said, we hope HTC to announce their new smartphone in the upcoming events of the new year, like the early Consumer Electronics Show, in United States or the late Mobile World Congress, in Spain. But we must say, our fingers are crossed for an updated One model.

Grippity launches translucent double-sided Android tablet

We have improvisations in the mobile technology field each day and for now we have the latest project of Jacob Eichbaum, the Co-Founder of Grippity and their patent with double-sided semi-transparent touch screen, with all powering Android to put to the top of the list.

The Kickstarter Grippity introduces the world's first transparent/translucent dual-sided touch screen Android powered tablet, which features LCD display with LED Grippity along with capacitive multitouch panel on either sides of the unit. The basic idea behind this new technology is to use every finger of your hand, or just to type faster, where four of your fingers stays on the back with two thumbs over to the front.

Sounds impressive? Well it should, but unfortunately rest of the device's specifications seems to lag behind, coming with Cortex A8 processor with 4 gigabytes of on board memory (expandable via microSD card slot), 512 megabytes of Random Access Memory (RAM), WiFi and Bluetooth on connectivity department, lacking of 3G or 4G support. From the operating side the tablet sports Google's platform Android's 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box.

According to these people from Israel, the Kickstarter project campaign has 29 days left and they have reached $22,283 of $199,000 funding goals. And if you wish to bag one unit for your self, then you can pledge one for 235 United States Dollars and you should probably get your hands-on to the device by October, 2014 or for at least $159 for the first few people around.

MyGlass application was available on Apple's App Store, before it got pulled a while ago

Google's MyGlass application was available for free to download in the Apple's App Store, for iOS powered devices to control the $1500 worth fashionable and wearable American's technology.

As we are aware of what the application basically does, as seen on an Android smartphone application. The MyGlass app for iOS too allows it's users to initial setup the Glass, manage data networks and synced Glassware application's like the Google Search, Google+ and Gmail, locate a missing device using Google Maps, mirroring of what you see through the Glass to the display of your iPhone and it also assists in adding or removing certain contacts.

But unfortunately, the app is no more available in App Store, as it was removed by Google or Apple a while ago. We are still unclear of what made this happen all of a sudden.

Update: Following the recent XE12 update to the Glass, Google refreshed their support webpage and promises to bring the application back to Apple's App Store later this week.

Nokia to hold rumored Android smartphone 'Normandy' release in 2014

Last week, we heard Nokia's plans of introducing Android powered smartphone, codenamed as Normandy, and the source stated the project is "Full Stream Ahead".

Today we have reports from a Chinese webpage, reporting that the Finnish company is still ahead with the plans of Asha smartphones, but the Android project seems to thinner. They had been working on several number of Android smartphone prototypes in it's internals, including a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 running seven-inches tablet. The team and the project was reportedly led by Peter Skillman, who was the former Vice President of Nokia's MeeGo Ux and Services and Design.

Accordingly, Nokia will not be able to sell Nokia branded devices for the next two years, as a part of it's acquisition to the Redmond company. And now, the company has suspended it's plans with the reported Android smartphones and tablets program. As we read on, the source have also stated that the company suspended their Android plans without any direct words from Microsoft. Nevertheless, these works were done from a separate division, that isn't coming under the Microsoft deal.

What news makes an entry today, is that the company is focusing on new technology, like the wireless power transmission, low power electromagnetic energy generation, flexible displays, graphene sensors and the latest trend of wearable technology, probably a smartglass, which is in the Finnish company's production line, that is to make it's way to the public by 2015. Either way, we keep our hopes flame high for Nokia, to hit back strong in the emerging markets.
