Protect yourself from Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The best way to prevent the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic illness is by avoiding your exposure to the virus. Clean your hands often, use soap and water for at least 20 seconds or a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol to clean your hands more frequently.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands or after being in the public.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Maintain a safe distance between yourself and other people if COVID-19 is spreading in your community.
Stay home if you’re sick and take help from local health authorities and medical professionals.
Make sure to cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or use the inside of your elbow when you cough or sneeze. Properly dispose the used tissues in the trash, and immediately clean your hands with soap and water or a hand sanitizer.
Wear a face mask if you are sick or if you are around other people (e.g., sharing a room or vehicle) and before you enter a healthcare provider’s office. Do not wear a face mask unless you are caring for someone who is sick.

Jolla operating system coming soon to Android smartphones, says the CEO



So if you don't plan to waste some penny on the lately announced Jolla smartphone running Sailfish OS on board, the Finland native Jolla Ltd.'s Chief Operating Officer, Tomi Pienimäki have plans to introduce their operating system to the Android platform for side-loading, soon.

In a latest interview with the a Finnish media, the company's CEO made his thoughts clear on launching the independent Sailfish operating system based on MeeGo and Mer Core open source projects on Google platform's Android running smartphones. He also made a note on that, they are not selling their OS, instead, the means can be of applications, services or even advertising.

"That is the plan. We are on device business and OS business. It is fairly easy to install the OS on Android devices. There is no such culture in these parts of the world [Finland], but there are people that are installing new operating systems on their devices. In China it is mainstream. About half of the smartphone buyers are upgrading their older or cheaper devices with a better version of Android. For us it is a possibility to distribute our operating system especially in China. There are websites that already distribute [OS] software and the Chinese customers are doing it ­so we don’t have to teach them. We just have to get Sailfish to those websites – and to make sure that Sailfish will run on different kind of Android devices," said Pienimäki

Jolla smartphone with Sailfish OS will be up for sales from November 27



Jolla is an independent Finnish stock company, a designer, also a developer of various mobile devices and the birthplace of open Sailfish operating system based on MeeGo and Mer Core open source projects. We heard about the handset's official announcement this past May, 2013, is now all set to be bought by the public.

 The Jolla smartphone will hit the store shelves with a Dual-Core Snapdragon 400 chipset clocked at 1.4GHz, a 4.5-inches screen of 540 x 960 resolution display, 16 gigabytes of internal storage, 1 gigabyte of Random Access Memory (RAM) (expandable via microSD card slot), an eight megapixels main camera with LED flash light and a two megapixels front facer, 2,100mAh powered battery and open Sailfish OS on it's operating side.

 According to the latest tweet from the company's official twitter, the all new Finnish smartphone will arrive in Helsinki on the country's carrier, DNA and will be up for orders from 27th November in nine different colors, priced at 537 United States Dollars. Customers can now select applications that comes pre-installed on the device.

Jolla phone surface's specs are now official



The first smartphone which was announced earlier this year by the Jolla Mobile, named Jolla, will start it shipping by the end of the year. This device runs company's Meego-based Saifish OS, which support Android Apps and was officially confirmed. The Finnish company has also announced the specs of the device.

 The device will come out of the box with a 1.4GHz Dual-Core processor, 4.5-inch Estrade display with resolution of 540 x 960, 16GB internal memory (expandable via microSD card slot), 1GB RAM, 8 megapixels AF camera with LED flash as well and 2 megapixels front camera. It has a user-replaceable 2,100mAh powered battery. 

 Th pricing of the device by the company is $540 and let's wait for any news about the device.
