Protect yourself from Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The best way to prevent the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic illness is by avoiding your exposure to the virus. Clean your hands often, use soap and water for at least 20 seconds or a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol to clean your hands more frequently.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands or after being in the public.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Maintain a safe distance between yourself and other people if COVID-19 is spreading in your community.
Stay home if you’re sick and take help from local health authorities and medical professionals.
Make sure to cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or use the inside of your elbow when you cough or sneeze. Properly dispose the used tissues in the trash, and immediately clean your hands with soap and water or a hand sanitizer.
Wear a face mask if you are sick or if you are around other people (e.g., sharing a room or vehicle) and before you enter a healthcare provider’s office. Do not wear a face mask unless you are caring for someone who is sick.

Qualcomm buy's Palm, IPAQ and Bitfone's patents from HP



The American global fabless semiconductor manufacturing company, Qualcomm Incorporated goes officially acquiring a patent portfolio from Hewlett-Packard company including Development Co LP and Palm, Inc.

This new acquirement totally consists of Plam, IPAQ and Bitfone's patents, where includes about 2400 granted patent and pending patent application, where 1400 of them comes in from the Stateside and the remaining 1000 from other countries, that brings along the mobile operating system techniques. Remember, Palm was bought by HP, back in 2010.

HP goes official with Slate6 phablet and Slate7 tablet VoiceTab's in India



Hewlett-Packard has something to offer in favors of a new phablet and tablet, that is coming to India very soon. The American multinational manufacturer has introduced two new big boys, named Slate6 VoiceTab and Slate7 VoiceTab.

The Slate6 phablet will come equipped a six-inches High Definition IPS screen panel of 1280 x 720 resolution display and the Slate7 tablet will feature a seven-inches HD IPS screen 1280 x 800 pixels with dual-SIM 3G standby and voice-calling facilities, a dual stereo front facing speakers, powered with an unknown Quad-Core processor, rumored to be of 1GHz Marvell variant, 16 gigabytes of on board memory (expandable via microSD card slot), five megapixels camera on the back with a two megapixels camera on the front and runs Android OS out of the box, respectively. Form the design section, "The stylish, compact design is slim enough to fit nicely in the pocket and features a premium pixilated, scratch-resistant back cover design," added HP.

We are still lacking the pricing info, alongside we also doubt on how the consumers around the Indian bazaar will treat the HP and their two new slates, as the company had failed to prove it's excellence in the markets of Europe and United States earlier.

HP outs four new Android-powered slates and Window's Tabs



The American multinational information technology corporation company, Hewlett Packard has now officially announced four new Android lineup slates in different sizes and specifications  for everyone's daily need.

 HP have tablets from seven-inch to 10-inch ones. The company has also introduce two new Microsoft Windows tablets as well. These devices will start shipping by the month of November. We have some of it's specs detailed, in here, check out.

 HP Slate 7 Extreme from the above image is expected to come out of the box with NVIDIA Tegra 4 Quad-Core processor, a seven-inch screen of 1280 x 800 resolution display and a stylus pen as well.




Next up is the Hewlett Packard's 7 HD, a Dual-Core runner with a seven-inch 1280 x 800 IPS screen, nine hours battery life, Beats Audio and  200 megabytes of free data from T-Mobile for 2 years. The company also have a 10-inch variant of the above seven-inch model with the same specifications.



HP Slate 8 Pro also comes with a NVIDIA Tegra 4 Quad-Core processor, eight-inch screen of 1600 x 1200 resolution at 4:3 aspect ratio, an eight megapixels back camera and 2 megapixels front-facer. It is also supported by an SD card and HDMI output as well.



And now, this is the American company's first Windows 11.6-inch tablet with keyboard dock, the Pavilion x2. It is expected to come out the box with 1366 x 768 IPS screen, 4GB of RAM and up to 128 of flash storage. This device will be soon available for sales from November 17th in three color option at a starting price of $599.99.

 


Finally, Hewlett Packard's second Windows version, the Omni 10. The tablet packs a 1920 x 1080 resolution screen and 2 gigs of RAM. It consists a microSD, micro HDMI and micro USB ports on the sides.

HP in plans of a Windows Phone 8 smartphone



The American multinational information technology corporation, Hewlett-Packard is reportedly building up a Windows Phone 8 powered smartphone in their plants.

 This United States based company is no stranger to the Android Operating System, with it's Slate tablet line-up, announced earlier this year, but now the manufacturer is entering back the smartphone industry with the rumored Windows Phone 8 smartphone. Hewlett-Packard  holds a history of manufacturing a Windows phone a few years ago named, iPAQ 210, even before the company getting it's hands into the webOperatingSystem.

 We still haven't got our hands to the rumored Windows Phone 8 model of HP, but we seriously hope the phone to come out of the box with the General Distribution 3 (GDR3) installed, which may indicate the phone in featuring a 1080p resolution screen and a Quad-Core processor.
