Protect yourself from Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The best way to prevent the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic illness is by avoiding your exposure to the virus. Clean your hands often, use soap and water for at least 20 seconds or a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol to clean your hands more frequently.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands or after being in the public.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Maintain a safe distance between yourself and other people if COVID-19 is spreading in your community.
Stay home if you’re sick and take help from local health authorities and medical professionals.
Make sure to cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or use the inside of your elbow when you cough or sneeze. Properly dispose the used tissues in the trash, and immediately clean your hands with soap and water or a hand sanitizer.
Wear a face mask if you are sick or if you are around other people (e.g., sharing a room or vehicle) and before you enter a healthcare provider’s office. Do not wear a face mask unless you are caring for someone who is sick.

Google Play now accepts donations to Coronavirus relief funds


As the world is fighting back the rapid widespread of Coronavirus also known as COVID-19, we see Google doing their part in helping and collecting relief funds for the people affected by virus outbreak across United States through their digital distribution service, Google Play on Android-powered devices by promoting a dedicated banner on top of the app, that allows users to make donations from as little as $5 to $100 without any additional transaction charges. Google assures that, all of your contribution goes to the nonprofit organisation, The Center for Disaster Philanthropy, which is a resource that help smaller donors make more thoughtful disaster-related giving decisions.

CyanogenMod Installer application pulled from Google Play Store!



It was announced a few weeks back, from then CyanogenMod, Inc witnessed thousands of downloads of the company's custom firmware on a number of it's users, including us, when their app was official in the Google Play Store.

But now things have changed folks, hours back we saw CyanogenMod developers voluntarily pulling out the application from the Android market place, the Google Play. According to Google, the application led it's users to violate the warranty of their devices by basically rooting their supported handsets in the process. We also heard that Google acknowledged that the app did not violate their store's terms of service, where the developer was asked to remove the app before Google lets it forcefully down.

Today, we were contacted by the Google Play Support team to say that our CyanogenMod Installer application is in violation of Google Play’s developer terms.
They advised us to voluntarily remove the application, or they would be forced to remove it administratively. We have complied with their wishes while we wait for a more favorable resolution.
To those unfamiliar with the application, it has a single function – to guide users to enable “ADB”, a built in development and debugging tool, and then navigates the user to the desktop installer. The desktop application then performs the installation of the CyanogenMod on their Android device.
After reaching out to the Play team, their feedback was that though application itself is harmless, and not actually in violation of their Terms of Service, since it ‘encourages users to void their warranty’, it would not be allowed to remain in the store.

But as to fortunate for all the custom ROM lovers, the CyanogenMod Installer application is still downloadable and accessible from the company's own domain, where you will be able to sideload it to any supported Android running devices. CyanogenMod, Inc also made a promise to submit their app to the Amazon and Samsung App stores soon.

Next generation Nexus wireless charger hits United States



Yesterday the American search giant introduced the next generation Nexus wireless charging pad with improved design language and usability. As the company also went posting it up on sales along with the previously announced official Nexus 5 Bumper cases and Quick covers.

 We all like to see this coming, as Google too. The new pad features a new sleek design black gloss finish, where Google have gone to be more squarish, than the previous circular Nexus Orb charger. The new Qi powered wireless charger is officially compatible with the new LG made Nexus 5 smartphone, 2nd generation ASUS manufactured Nexus 7 tablet and the 2012 flagship, LG made Nexus 4.

 But nonetheless, you will possibly be able to use this with any Qi wireless charging enabled units. The United Sates based Google Play will sell the new mate for a price of $49.99.

BlackBerry have no plans to introduce Google Play Store, but will run Android apps instead



While we have a few images of BlackBerry manufactured Z10 running the Google Play Store application, leaked a couple of days ago. Following the allegations, pilled up a number of rumors too. But to put a full stop on this case, one of the company's spokesperson have now moved all speculations out of it's way.

As he made it clear that the new update to the Canadian's operating system will pack the Android Runtime (ART), and will support installations and running of Google's platform Android based applications on BlackBerry 10 devices.

"There is no planned support for Google Play on BlackBerry. BlackBerry World remains the primary source for trusted and curated BlackBerry applications and we continue to support open standards and open source tools so BlackBerry developers can continue to create great apps on any of the development platforms we support," said the officials.

And as seen before, exactly what happened on the Z10, users with the BlackBerry update 10.2.1.1055 will be able to open up apk. files from the smartphone's file manager and install the application, without the need of converting the file to a BlackBerry optimized bar. format.

BlackBerry Z10 spotted running Google Play Store



Believe it or not folks! But what you see above is a few live images of a BlackBerry Z10 featuring Google Play Store. Even though it is very difficult to say whether this is a "Hocus Pocus" by the Adobe's great 'Photoshop' application or to believe what your eyes witness's. So, allow us to ask you, can Google Play Store really running on a BlackBerry 10.2.1 operating system?

 There is nothing much specified in the source, other than a wordings, "Found these online... Pics of Play Store on Z10". But at this stage, the company can make us expect the unexpected, accordingly  if this all turned out to be worthy, then the Canadian's can just sling wonders with their magic wand and their built hardware with Google's own Android market as a part of it's software.

LG Google Nexus 5 shows up in Google Play Store



Thank you tipsters and other sources, who made this handset breath in with speculations, rumors and leaks. Finally the long awaited LG manufactured Google's flagship Nexus 5 launched in Google Pay Store alongside of ASUS manufactured Nexus 7 and Samsung made Nexus 10.



Yesterday came up the Google Play 'Devices' section with the 16 gigabytes variant of the Nexus 5 at a previously rumored price of $349. "Capture the everyday and the epic in fresh new ways," taglined Google.

 So at this state of situation, we conclude that everything we saw until today about the device is coming to a reality, the smartphone shows up officially with the leaked body design and the 'Nexus' logo on the back, also the new Android 4.4 KitKat User Interface along with the new wallpapers. Now, we expect LG and Google to make an official note at any moment.

Google Play unveils three new Application vending machines in Japan



Most of the vending machines technology takes it's birth from Japan, the country who's not at all a stranger to these kind of electronic machines. And we here just don't talk about any technology, but Mobile Technology, yes that's what we're here for, and this new Google Play vending machines too have a same story to share like.

 The new machines from Google Play, the digital application distribution for Android will be selling 18 different gaming applications, categorized in two, free and paid. How does this traditional vending buddy basically works from Google, Inc? To get it worked, you'll need an Android smartphone with Near Field Communication (NFC) enabled and running Android version 4.0 or above. Choose the game you want to download and place your selection on the giant screen of the unit, which will then send the selected app to your smartphone which is being rested on the machine's cradle with a few animations (similar to the drinks vending machines), where your handset will automatically start the download of the selected game via NFC.

 Well if you don't have a required device, you needn't worry, the machine is too offering to deliver it's customers with a Google Nexus 4 to try out this new technology from the Japanese, which will then be recollected by the assigned Google employees.
