Protect yourself from Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The best way to prevent the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic illness is by avoiding your exposure to the virus. Clean your hands often, use soap and water for at least 20 seconds or a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol to clean your hands more frequently.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands or after being in the public.
Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Maintain a safe distance between yourself and other people if COVID-19 is spreading in your community.
Stay home if you’re sick and take help from local health authorities and medical professionals.
Make sure to cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or use the inside of your elbow when you cough or sneeze. Properly dispose the used tissues in the trash, and immediately clean your hands with soap and water or a hand sanitizer.
Wear a face mask if you are sick or if you are around other people (e.g., sharing a room or vehicle) and before you enter a healthcare provider’s office. Do not wear a face mask unless you are caring for someone who is sick.

Gionee will soon go official with the world's slimmest smartphone, Elife S5.1



We haven't seen any official announcement from the Chinese based smartphone manufacturer, Gionee yet. But we surly know their plans to introduce yet another world's slimmest smartphone, reportedly named Elife S5.1. Yeah, we do know they are currently holding the title for world's thinnest smartphone, already. So, this time the company has broken their own previous record of having 5.55 millimeters thick phone on board by revealing the new Elife S5.1. The new phone dimensions are 139.8 x 64.7 x 5.15 mm in thickness. There's no information regarding availability and pricing of the device, though. The Elife S5.1 is again almost similar to it's predecessor handset, the previously announced Gionee Elife S5.5, made of both glass and metal construction.

According to the specifications revealed, the Elife S5.1 will pack Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC with clock speed of 1.2GHZ Cortex-A7 processor, 4.8-inches AMOLED screen with the resolution of 1280 x 720 display marked at 306 pixel-per-inch, 16 gigs of Read Only Memory, one gigabyte of Random Access Memory, eight megapixels primary camera with LED flash light and a five megapixels front-facing camera, 2,100mAh powered battery and runs the Android's 4.3 Jelly Bean with the company's own Amigo 2.0 User Interface on the board.

The device is rumored to hit the market shelves somewhere in this month, September, first in China, followed by India of course. Stay tuned with us for the official announcement of the new handset.

Gionee Pioneer P4 specification details gets revealed



The Gionee Pioneer P4 gets listed on the Gionee's Indian website before it officially gets launched. We have got the specifications of the device. The Gionee Pioneer P4 will pack a Quad-Core processor of MediaTek MT6582 kind.

The handset will come out of the box with a Quad-Core SoC clocked at 1.3GHz, 4.5-inches screen with the resolution of 854 x 480 display, eight gigs of internal memory (expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot), a gigabyte of Random Access Memory, five megapixels primary camera with LED flash capable of recording HD videos and two megapixels front-facing camera, 1,800mAh powered battery and runs Android's version 4.2 Jelly Bean. 




The device is 9.05 mm thick and weighs 128.7 grams and supports dual-SIM capabilities. For connectivity it supports WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM-Radio and 3G. There is no information about the availability of the smartphone and it is expected to cost around US Dollar 160.

Gionee announces Elife S5.5, more than slim



The Chinese based manufacturer, Gionee has unveiled the world's thinnest smartphone till date, the Elife S5.5. The handset is said to be a combination both glass and metal on, consisting of light and durable magnesium alloy body frame, on the sides, with third generation Gorilla Glass on front and back. 

So, why is it called so thin? Well, this phone maker from China claim's it to be edged off at 145.1 x 70.2 x 5.55 millimeters in the whole body dimensions and 130 grams on weight. The new phone will arrive with comparatively high-end internal specifications out of its package.

Gionee Elife S5.5 will sport a Quad-Core MediaTek MTK 6592 clocked at 1.7GHz, five-inch capacitive touchscreen of 1920 x 1080 resolution display in protection of LTPS Corning Gorilla Glass 3, 16 gigabytes of internal mass storage, two gigabytes of Random Access Memory (RAM), 16 megapixels primary shooter with LED flash light and five megapixels secondary camera 95 degrees wide angle, both capable of capturing 1080p videos at 30 frames-per-second, Bluetooth 4.0 and 4G LTE network support on board, 2,300mAh powered battery and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean based Amigos 2.0 over the hood.

The handset will come in White and Black color options for around 370 United States Dollars in it's homeland, China. Elife S5.5's international availability is still in doubts.

Gionee unveils Elife E7 Mini



Gionee announces miniature version of their 2013 flagship smartphone Elife E7 Mini. The younger sibling of the Elife E7 will pack the Oppo N1 like primary camera that can be rotated to be the front facer at 206 degrees.

The new Elife E7 Mini will come out of the box with Octa-Core MediaTek MT6592 processor clocked at 1.7GHz, a 4.7-inches screen with 720p resolution display, 16 gigabytes of Read Only Memory (ROM), a gigabyte of Random Access Memory (RAM), a single 13 megapixels swivel camera, supports dual-SIM 3G capabilities and runs Android's version 4.2 Jelly Bean with a well polished Amigo User Interface over the top.

The new handset seems to show up in India for about 310 United States Dollars, where we doubt it's availability for United States, just yet.

Gionee unveils it's 2013 flagship, Elife E7



Gionee has announced it's 2013 flagship, the Elife E7. Being a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, the company is claiming to have the best 16 megapixels cameraphone the world have ever witnessed, and packs a polished AMIGO 2.0 Android based operating system on board, as said by the sources.

The new smartphone comes out of the box with a Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC and Krait 400 processor running at 2.2GHz, Adreno 330 GPU, where the 4G LTE variant of E7 will be the first to sport a 2.5GHz version of Krait 400 processor. A sharp 5.5-inch JDI Full High Definition screen of 1080 x 1920 resolution display marked at 401 pixels-per-inch in protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3, 16 gigabytes of internal storage space and 2 gigs of RAM, accordingly the E7L model will carry out 32 gigabytes internal memory with 3 gigs of LPDDR3 RAM.



The Elife E7 shoots with a 16 megapixels primary shooter and an eight megapixels front facer, as the primary lens is based on Largan M8 solution, both capable of capturing 1080p videos, Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity alongside 2,500mAh powered battery and Android based AMIGO 2.0 operating system providing more polished performance and user experience with pre-installed customized applications. The handset is measured at 150.6 x 75 x 9.5 millimeters in it's dimensions and 150 grams in weight. The E7 will be available in a wide variety of colors like White, Black, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange and Pink.

And as said before, if you hold an address in China, you may snag a Gionee Elife E7 by December 5 at price of 443 USD for the 16 gigabytes off-contract variant, while the 32 gigs model will cost you about 525 United States Dollars. The new device is also expected to show up outside the Chinese markets by the starting of next year, 2014.
