Samsung's upcoming premium and high-end smartphone with rumored metal casing has made another set of leaks on the internet, courtesy of phoneArena. According to the source, what you see from the pictures both above and below are said to be the pre-production model of the purported Galaxy F smartphone, which exactly matches with the Press render that leaked this past Thursday.
The tipster also suggests that the handset is currently running of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 801 chipset, where the unit was said to ship with the semiconductor manufacturer's new 805 processor on board. But this is assumed as to be just the changes in the early prototypes from the South Koreans. It is also read that the phone is comparatively smaller than the company's bellwether smartphone, Galaxy S5. The anonymous leakster from the source also reports the impending phone to be "asymmetrical", meaning it to be more curved from the top of the handset and the smartphone is now speculated to have IP67-certifications out of the box, making this looming premium Samsung phone too resistant to dust and water by all means.
We still have no clear evidence of the smartphone to pack metal chassis or brushed metal pattern over the polycarbonate build. But indeed, we can take the name, Galaxy F, seriously now, as the handset's boot screen from the below photograph displays what's mentioned. The final consumer product of this new model is believed to feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 805 processor, an improved 5.3-inches Quad High Definition panel of 2560 x 1440 resolution display, three gigabytes of Random Access Memory, optically stabilized 16 megapixels primary lens with LED flash. The phone will also carry a dedicated heart rate sensor on board, just like the flagship, GS5. Keeping the past rumors in mind, the phone is rumored to go official at the firm's 'Unpacked Episode 2' event.
Update: The tipster has outed a new real life photograph of the Samsung Galaxy F, being compared side by side in outdoor, where now we get to see the phone from it's front and back at the same time. Along with the new picture came in details, claiming it will make it's consumer debut along with Apple's iPhone 6, somewhere in September.
