We have seen our Editor Mustafa talking about a new Taiwanese smartphone, from their current Desire line-up, named Desire 616. According to the reports on-air, the yet to be official phone has already passed through China's certification process, TENAA. Yesterday we saw the phone in renders of the certification filing, where today morning the phone made another round of appearance in a few live hands-on photographs.
The new leaks suggests us seeing the company's upcoming phone with the same virtual on screen navigation buttons from their recently announced flagship phone, the One 2014 or M8. The phone looks to be crafted out of polycarbonate chassis, speculated to come in Black, White, Red, Yellow and Blue color options.
If the rumors and leaked reports are to be believed, we will see a new phone from HTC coming out of the box with a Quad-Core MediaTek processor, speeding at 1.7GHz, five-inches screen or 1280 x 720 resolution display, microSD card slot for further internal memory expansion, one gigabyte of Random Access Memory (RAM), eight megapixels main camera on the back with LED flash light and a two megapixels secondary camera, supporting China's Unicom WCDMA 3G networks, running Android's version 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
While the availability of the new unannounced Taiwanese phone, Desire 616 for the United States are still in doubts, the leakster from China writes in a price to be about 1299 Chinese Yuan, around 209 USD unlocked, once it's announced officially.
